It’s late February, a time of year that can often provide fantastic sport on the feeder, with Loch Lomond’s Roach keen to feed hard as they prepare to head off to the spawning grounds. With this in mind, confidence is high as we again head to ‘the bonnie banks’ in hope of bagging up on little slabs of silver.
However, as is so often the case in fishing, we definitely don’t have it our own way as another of Lomond’s inhabitants are also feeding hard before their own spawning endeavours, resulting in some challenging conditions; to say the least, our taxes were well and truly paid.
