I would love to see one up close and go for a ride! About four weeks ago (while at work), I happened to look up and seen a plane moving rather fast. Though it was smaller than most GA Jets that I'm use to seeing, it was larger than a single engine land aircraft. I instantly thought it could be my first sighting of the SF50 and confirmed it through the use of an app I frequently use. From what I observed from the ground, this is one hell of a great aircraft! I would love to learn more about it and go up in one.

Ahh, didnt know you could do seat configuration like that, I thought if you did Exec seating you couldnt also have backseats, good to know that console removes easily and the back seats can come in and out easily, just like you said, just leave them in the hangar until you need them.

Ironic that VJ was next to the PC-24, as I’m trying to compare the two. Have you flown the PC-24? If so, price aside, which would you recommend for a single pilot for both alone and family missions?

I’ve never understood the mission for which the Vision Jet is the best choice. Short range, turboprop speeds and altitudes. I guess if you’re moving up from an SR22 it would be a relatively pain free transition. But for similar money, I’d get an Eclipse 500. Flight Level 410, jet speeds, lower fuel burn. The Vision Jet has about 50 miles more max range than the Eclipse, but that’s the only mission parameter where it wins, and that only by a bit. And the Eclipse has two engines. The panel is less “gee whiz” than the Vision Jet but it’s plenty good. You can make a strong case for superior factory support for the Vision Jet. But, for any mission I can think of, I’d take the Eclipse.
