The pilot is well composed, and articulate The "reporter" reminds me of that one drunk uncle who always shows up to family events. You say things to be nice, but body language says "Please make him go away!"
I can tell that this captain is a cut above the rest! And unlike some of those egoistic pilots this sir is indeed is very humble! Wish I have this captain or kind of captain one day when/if I ever start flying! God bless sir. Also perhaps I am assuming from hair cut he is from the military lol hence even more humble
I thought I was alone in thinking this reporter is a pratt/dope/goofball/terrible. I guess not. How he ever got a job reporting anything is beyond me.....
thats just because cnn doesnt cater to your conservative views. yet here you are watching cnn videos and crying about them in the comment section. just like allot of your conservative friends. why arent you in your safe little bubble?
You see the interviewer leaning and dropping the organ bag around, I bet the pilot just wants to grab him on the wrist and slap his cheek. Very good self control by the pilot.
Curious what they use the second floor for in Cargo. That could be a hell of a hangout spot for long range flights. Just can't imagine UPS leaving that kind of money on the table like that
Gregory . the 747-8 has 4 cargo compartments - the main deck where the reporter was standing, another, much smaller compartment in the belly, forward of the main landing gear, another such compartment aft of the main landing gear - both of which are loaded with air "cans" and the 3rd compartment is in the belly, aft of the rear lower space, where loose packages can be loaded. As for the "hump" up top - cockpit, crew rest area (2 bunks) galley, head, and I believe 6 jump seats for traveling crew members, or flight crews from other airlines. If you noticed, the top deck, aka "hump" on the Dash-8 is much smaller than on previous versions of the 747. And NO - the average employee or management person is not permitted to jumpseat...you must be a bona fide flight crew member.
@@1Ocqueoc It just seems like wasted space. I wouldn't call it a "Dash-8." Its just easier to type 747-8 and not get confused with the aircraft called "Dash-8."
Gregory, there really isn't "wasted space" on that top deck, which as I said is significantly smaller than those on the -400 or even the -200. The galley is merely a cold storage compartment - about 1/2 the size of an apartment sized refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave, all built into a bulkhead. If there is any wasted space, i guess it would be the extra leg room between the 1st Class type of jumpseats. The crew bunks are not even in their own compartment. Even the head is the same size of what you would find in a commercial 737.
Randy She that’s not true at all. I’m not a flight crew member and I’ve jump seated twice. There are 4 seats in the upper deck. The cargo 747 has a smaller hump. The passenger 747 that was converted to cargo has a bigger hump.
@@jakesimpson6365 not to discoueage you, but I've heard they're super selective, and usually you have to know someone to even get considered. Great job once you get it though.
