This is a generative art video work with variable duration, content and dimensions. The word "dream" in the title is a pun, which means both “a peaceful deep sleep” and “a dreamy fantasy”. The sound effects of waves create a safe harbor, providing the audience with a space to relax and imagine freely, and listening to the inner voice emerging from the subconscious. I want to embrace people's desire to escape from the pressure of reality, and to give audience comfort through both vibrant color and healing music.
The work is inspired by shallow sea coral reefs. Coral reefs are among the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth, and they provide habitat, including food and spawning grounds, for a vast array of marine life. Coral reefs also act as natural buffers against storms and waves, protecting those who live on the coast. In addition, the lush and magnificent pictures of coral reefs and marine life are also fascinating and are an excellent expression of the beauty of nature. Their existence makes the world safer, healthier, and more colorful.
