A place to escape loneliness 

This video hit me hard. I got emotional watching it, and at first, I didn’t know why, but then I realized… These retreats aren’t really about personal or professional growth or being more successful; those are both just by-products. Loneliness is an epidemic. Men are lost, confused, stressed out, unhappy, and settling for “fine” all over their lives. These retreats are about community, connection, and communion. Community and connection with others in a way that most of us are profoundly craving: communion within ourselves, coming home to ourselves, and a brotherhood, something that for most of history we had in our small tribes and communities, but something that’s been long lost.
