Thank you Robert! I made myself one after this one for my wife. Basically it is the same thing. A Stanley cup, sawyer mini, a 20 oz. water bottle and my little firebox stove are the regular contents in it. Mine gets a lot more use than my wife's, and it has held up really well. It's a good bag. Thanks for checking it out, and good luck to you with your and your wife's. Hope they do ya well.
Thank you Ru! It was fun playing around and learning to do that effect. Doubtful that I do it often, or again even, but was fun trying to make it work. Most importantly, am glad you liked your haversack and am pleased with it. I think it will be a good bag for you. Thanks for watching my vid!
Heck yeah Karl! That's awesome. I like your customizations. I've always been intrigued by those bags, but never saw the inside of one.... thanks for showing the inner pockets. I think that would match my Italian Army rucksack perfectly!
It's a pretty good sized bag actually, very roomy. I got it from Coleman's Military Surplus. this morning I checked to make sure they still had them and they did, running between 9 for 2 and 19 for 2. I'm thinking of getting a couple more. Thanks for checking it out Chris!
Went on the search of finding polish bread bag mods bc I’m getting two from Coleman...Love that polish bread bag...maybe even the best one shown without any real mods...just subbed you. Thanks for sharing Karl! God bless.
Thanks! Ignore the silly stuff about fading in and out in the vid. I was playing around with editing, I don't do that with all my vids :-) I bought the 2 pack from Coleman's also, and set them up basically the same. I am really enjoying mine. It's holding up really well and surprisingly holds quite a bit. Thanks for stopping by and checking it out, and thanks for the sub!
I understand ya the creator is the worst critic. I would be very proud of that strap looks nice I don't know anything about dieing different colors I have to look for a shoulder pad for mine great idea.also cool editing
Thank you! I appreciate that. She's very happy with it too, and says there is nothing wrong with it and it's beautiful! For that, I'm glad. I did put a lot of heart into it. Thanks for checking it out!
Very well done. I have a post WWII German bread bag coming in. Probably be a while with international shipping taking a big hit from the Rona. It will need a shoulder strap since it's coming without. May need to give this a try my friend.
Thanks! I put clasps on both ends, and a buckle adjustment on one side, then the shoulder pad. Not really a lot of money invested. It's a good day project. Good luck to ya when you start yours! Hopefully your bag arrives soon Thanks for checking mine out!
No longslide .45 in the bag? Looks like a great little project to keep you busy. Only person you have to please is Ruth. Thank you for showing us the haversack, Karl. Stay safe
It's been a year of better since I bought them, but at the time it was something close to $19.00 for 2. I got them from coleman's military surplus in PA. Colemans.com i believe is it. I made a 2nd bag for myself and love it. It's working great! Thanks for checking it out!
