I remember watching this video nearly three years ago as a freshman daydreaming about leaving my hometown like Conan. It's been really nice rewatching these vlogs, reliving them AS a senior in highschool: prom shopping, college decisions, etc. It brings me back to a comforting and familiar time I can't quite put into words. He was the one who introduced me to Billie Eilish, to Ap Studio Art, to this entire video aesthetic that has become so popular. All I can say is thank you so much Conan, your videos really did help me through a lot. From 300k to 2 mil (soon enough:) ) it has been lovely watching you grow up. Thank you for always being unapologetically yourself, for being my role model throughout the years as I myself grew. I'm not sure how things are going to turn out. I might have to go to a state school in the end, I might not be able to escape my little town, but I know things will turn out okay.
I always watch his old vlogs to feel nostalgic/comforted. I discovered him as I was starting my sophomore year of high school, and I’m currently preparing for my freshman year of college. I could relate to him so much, because I lived in a very small town, but hoped to leave after school. His videos and music have been the soundtrack to my last few years of high school, and I find myself reminiscing kind of sadly as I rewatch. These vlogs remind me of a time where I was unsure of my future, but knew I could turn to Conan’s content for solace.
i know right, im from malaysia so alot is actually unrelatable, (i trust him way more in learning ab us hs kid culture way more than hollywd) but to think that he just made these videos for himself and share himself to the world, i think it would be unimaginable for him to comprehend the EMOTIONAL impact he has on his viewers... ALL around the world tooo. I hope there'll be another youtuber to avenge him(since conan got killed by jonan)

I don't know if you even care, but in my old house my bedroom was on the second floor and outside my window was the roof of downstairs and I'd sit on the roof and watch the sunset and look at the moon and stars. I miss that house so much, and In Australia last year there was a moon eclipse and I laid there on my roof watching the moon. Just wanted to tell someone cause you reminded me.

It’s great seeing how far Conan has come, getting emotional from getting 300,000 subscribers and the first time releasing his song on Spotify and ITunes. And now, he’s being a pop star out there releasing soo many great songs and reaching 2 million+ subscribers. I miss his RU-vid days, definitely! Been one of his long time viewer from 2016/2017. And I’m always coming back to watch all of Conan’s old vids again because it makes me feel better and turn my bad days to a brighter one.
this is probably incredibly boring BUT a) what are 'tardies' and b) it's interesting how Americans say "I've got class" whereas British people say "I have A lesson" .... yeah, wow, boring but ya know ;)

i remember watching conan when he had 1k subs and it's been such a joy seeing him grow into himself, humbly. it makes me emotional seeing him succeed and nearly graduate since i recall when he was a little middle schooler/lower classman. i'm so proud to see where you've come from and how kind and generous you are 💖
I started watching your videos just the other day. Ocean Eyes was the song I was listening to when I received the call telling me my mom had passed away a couple of months back. Hearing it in the opening was a bit of a slap in the face but it was also very nice to have the song put back in a positive context for a bit. I like your stuff. Makes me feel better about life.
Whenever I feel scared of the future, I watch conan. His vlogs comfort me and assure me that not everything is permanent. Since I found conan, his music and old videos, I’ve been genuinely happy. I’ve learned to find the beauty in the little things. I hope that one day I get to thank him for saving me
my parents have always told me cardinal birds are loved ones who passed on coming to visit.. whenever there’s a funeral i’m my family, on holidays, etc. i get flooded with cardinals. it’s weird but comforting... glad you made a friend :))
Hi, Conan, i'm just writing this because you said you like reading the comments and i hope you will be able to read this one, also it helps practicing my english (native spanish speaker). Eventough i've had a crazy, fun and stressful first week of uni, today was a really chill and relaxes day. I went to kind of like a "wiriting class" idk how to call it, in spanish we call it "taller de escritura". Well, so I woke up this morning and I felt very confortable, I haven't slept this much, 8 hours, since a long time, or at least it feels like it. I did everything I had to do on time and went to my class. There you can feel a creative atmosphere between the teachers and the students. We are a very small class, 10 people, and we gather together every Sunday at 11am in one of the teacher's house. I still don't know whose, but I suspect that it's either the female teacher or they are both living together (as a couple, or not). We did an activity where you must write nonstop within 9 minutes. It doesn't matter if you blank out (?) or run out of ideas beacuse you can "i don't know what to write anymore. Dammit" and it's still valid because it's just an excersise to let flow your creativity, and I must say it helps A LOT. You should try it sometime while writing a song, a story, or even an essay. After the writing class, in my way to my home I made some friends from the class (my first ones there) and it was so nice. We only talked for a bit because I live close and they had to keep going to the bus stop, but it still was an enjoyable experience. When i came home the smell of fried banana invaded my nostrills. Sweet banana. I was hungry right away. My mom gave me a kiss in the cheek and we hugged, as always, and I ate my lunch, which was very tasty. After that I did what I always do to relax: watch youtube. I watches the recent video of Lucy Moon, i think it's called «how to get over someone» or something like that. She gives such GREAT advice! She said all the right things and lots of things i have figured out thorugh time. You should definetely check it out, I recommend it, even if you're not in that situation right now, it wil help you in some way. Later on, I watched you vid and it gave me this relaxed and hapoy mood. I'm so glad this day turned out to be this way, I really am. During the week half of my class was gone on a boating trip, so it was really peaceful. I took a lot of notes in classes, and got confused over circle geometry. At home I practiced guitar, and danced to music a lot.
Literally whenever I feel unmotivated or in a bad mood I love watching your vlogs. It always makes me in a better mood and want to do something productive.
I've had a really crazy busy day today, and I only had a chance to start my homework at ten at night, I finished at one thirty in the morning. Watching Conan inspires me to take care of myself. So even in 2020 I go back on his videos and play them to help push me to get out of bed, drink water, and eat a healthy snack

The beginning 🥺 I miss my cat so much! I miss his purrs and his head brushing against my hand.... I moved to my hometown and my cat is with my dad in the city.. this is the first vlog i watched of yours (actually my first video was you trying to hit a whistle note but i think i forgot about you for a while and came back acter lucy moon recommended your channel in one of your videos). you were at something like 300k subscribers and it's crazy how much you've grown, not only in numbers, during these two years. i bet you must receive tons of comments of people saying they're proud of you, and here's another comment like that!! even though you don't post much on your channel these days you work so hard for us on your music and your art, and i'm immensely thankful for that. it's been amazing to follow the journey of someone who's in the same age range as me, and who has a similar story & similar interests and passions. you have proved me that i can have happy times now despite having had a hectic and traumatic childhood, and you've shown me that i can find joy in simple things and try to accept myself even if i'm not the straightest or most masculine young man. life is never easy but your content, no matter if it's songs, videos or funny tweets has brought me a lot of happiness. i can't wait to see where the future takes you, conan (and if you come back to france i'll make sure to attend your show!!)

this week was crazy busy but amazing! I live in france for study but because of easter holidays I came back to Italy to see my family after 2 mounths, before going to Rome ,where my parents are, I went to Milan Design Week which was a m a z i n g !!! It's a week in milan all about art, design and graphic!!! You would love it Conan!!!
My best moment this week was holding the first baby duck of this year! I work at a bird sanctuary and the moment the first baby duck comes in it's always the start of the busy spring season! I love you eveything you make! Xx
