@@NateMurphy Not really. What’s illegal about it? Rules in Spain are simple, straight-forward, and (for Western Europe) rather generous. If enough people don’t follow them because they don’t know better, couldn’t care less, or “monkey see monkey do” - then we may very well end up here like Portugal. Which I’d rather not have happen. In general, you can spend the night in a vehicle wherever you’re allowed to park it. It’s called “pernoctar”, and it’s perfectly legal. However, you cannot occupy any more space than your vehicle’s surface. No chairs and tables out, no awnings deployed, no flip-up windows open. Raised pop-tops and clamshell RTTs are OK, fold-out RTTs aren’t. Also, no levelling blocks, no grey-water draining, etc. All this is considered wild camping (“acampada libre”) and a no-no. Fines vary between 60 and 6k EUR (in some protected areas) per person - _tu_ _mateix…_ Also, the vehicle is shown somewhere in the middle of a meadow. That’s considered cross-country driving (“conducir campo a través”) which is not allowed, either. How about an educational video? You have the reach to make a difference. I’d be more than happy to provide more information or collaborate.
