i know dorian is the guy everyone is gonna talk about but overgrown beanstalk is actually fucking gigantic for treant druid after seeing that card i tried building treant druid and after testing i can say that the beanstalk is exactly what that deck NEEDS (and also for witchwood apple to add 3 treants to hand blizzard pleasepleaseple)
My favorite card personally is C’thun. I loved him when Ifirst played back when Un’goro was the newest thing and I loved building decks around it. When I came back and saw they not only buffed its support cards but also made him 8 Mana, I thought for a solid 30 minutes that I was losing it. If I didn’t play back them, My answer would be, probably Li’na as I loved trying to make some niche cards work like Cenarius in Treant Druid or Hodir in Highlander Hunter. Making the right deck for her could be very back-breaking if they don’t have a good AND reliable board clear cause Li’na’s low health might help against clears like Bladestorm or Snowball Fight.
Dorian seems really good with proper support. As for favourites, today i'm feeling a three way tie between Jade Display, Free Spirit and Mayor Noggenfogger.
I really like the 1 drop for demon hunter that was revealed , like those agressive decks, got back to hs after a long time was an og player gor top 200 few times, now had to start a new accaunt hoping to rebuild my collection.
I think Big Beast Hunter could really benefit from Dorian. Dorian+Master's Call is huge. You can turn 7 that, turn 8 have two toyrannosaurus'. That tempo alone is devastating because Stranglethorn Heart could be used for tempo.
Theres a essential issue in many TCGs, where more expensive cards are not only worse overall (because of removal and being less efficient) but they also don't scalate in power properly (2/2/3 that gives 3 armour on DR would be a 8/8/12 that gives 12, but the 8 mana card is actually an 8/8/8 that gives 8) Miniaturize is not very good, because to get access to the good card you have to play a bad one first, which makes it easier to print powerful effects but makes the cards a bit underwhelming to play at first. Gigantify might be better because you get the efficient card first, and even though the 8/8/8 is useless in 99% of cases it's still better than nothing.
Gigantify works more like a general late game value option for if you run out of other cards, kind of like eternalize from mtg hour of devastation. However you never really run out of cards to play in hearthstone so I can only really see it being viable if it has attack related effects, like a gigantify minion that punches face as a battle cry
fav has gotta be C'thun as a wotog veteran also iirc miniset i'm very sad we got these janky druid reveals instead of something that fit the rest of the theme, say like, an aya retrain for the jade displays. it seemed obvious but guess that's just me
