You're turning into the thing I listening to when I workout, the time just matches just right and since is kinda like a podcast I can listen to the videos and every pause I do is just enough to enjoy the meme in the PowerPoint and read the description haha
Hurhuran hunter is so fun, for sure quickly becoming my favourite deck. I love watching a rogue do the "play 6 giants into pop an emote" combo, then insta-concede as soon as they realise what my lions are doing and they have no hand. I pulled, played and kept Hurhuran from back in the day too, so I'm happy she's finally a real card. I've always loved minion based hunter combos and believe hunter should be the best "anti-board minion class" since it's not close to the best aggro class, so I'm glad there's finally a deck I can play, hit legend with it last month too.
Side note to Dwarven District, and also an offhanded mention in the Boomsday spells video: this card makes Boomzooka Hunter exist. It needs no more than two specific minions, Dwarven District needs a bulk of cheap damage spells. Boomzooka Hunter has no board state, Dwarven District helps you fight for board while completing it and also once completed. Boomzooka Hunter can whiff badly, and a fistful of burn damage is sometimes all you need to win the game. Boomzooka Hunter’s niche is, in oh so many words, the strongest fair deck in the format. Sure, it can OTK you, but that requires a turn of setup, and the second largest threat in the deck is whittling down anything not packing a Reno or token generation.
Egg Hunter made my Huhuran pull all those years ago playable, that's what makes Wild so fun. My favorite card would have to be Lord Jaraxxus, one of my first classic legendaries with one hell of an iconic voice line when played. "You face Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion!"
fave card is probably Wildfire/Mordresh Fire Eye/Reckless Apprentice I loved that package and playing Even Ping Mage in Wild when those cards first released (before the Wildfire "buff")
I’ve got to go with Deck of Lunacy for my favorite card, it was just so fun to find ridiculous combos and win games out of nowhere. I’m loving your style of video and hope you get the recognition you deserve soon, keep it up!
Lost in the Park is what rekindled my interest Wild. I was bummed when I opened it in standard but then after finding out how OP it was in Wild my mind was blown.
As a f2p player that was around the kotfk expansion, I remember getting deathstalker rexxar in solo content and loving it because it was very strong and versatile, and also the only good card in my deck.
About the 2 mana clears for distributor: I am not terribly familiar with wild (or modern hearthstone on the whole), but as I played a lot during Frozen Throne, I immediately thought Defile in Warlock. Is that card still reasonable by today's standards? It would theoretically kill patches and then the distributor, right? I'd like to know if I'm missing something, like perhaps warlock just doesn't run that card in the types of decks that are viable. I'd be interested to know! Great video btw, been watching tons of your stuff recently, love your style.
Defile is definitely there yeah, I just was being a bit facetious. Slow warlock decks are unplayable garbage though so defile is unplayable (same with immo aura)
For my favorite it’s hard to choose. I loved the OG Hagatha Hero Card when I played in it my Elemental Shaman that I made back in Witchwood. But I also liked Sethekk Veilweaver, especially when Nazmani Bloodweaver came out and you can chain together a bunch of spells in the same turn by copying them for several discounts.
My favourite card is Odyn. GOAT card for me, most fun decks associated with it. The OTK potential was legendary. Stacking all that attack while having 40 armor is a level of satisfaction and impact that no deck has really matched up to for me. The only poopy part was dirty rat, and especially objection when that was still prevalent. Those cards definitely could ruin the deck but otherwise I never felt like there was a bad matchup for me. Every match felt winnable and I had so much control over the outcome of things.
I think cataclysm + imp worked like this: play imp => play cataclysm => cataclysm gives all minions destroyed tag => hand is discarded => imp triggers "whenever" effect befor cataclysm actions end as normal for "whenever" effects and all random damage strats fireing ignoring minions with destroyed tag => at the end of casting all minions taged as destroyed are removed from the board => as part of removing minions all deathrattles and other minion death effects are triggering => all normal consequences of the cataclysm are calculated
It’s a dumb choice but I always loved Marin the Fox. One of my first legendary cuz you got him for free and I started playing around catacombs. Classic battlecry phrase, glad the guy opened a hotel
Hey bro, if you need a video idea, I'd love to hear your opinion on sidequests as cards. I didn't play when they released, and my experience in wild has only sometimes seeing the mage one that summons a drake. Love hearing daily takes cards and wild, the only mode i play (and seems to be ignored by a lot of bigger content creators)
Honestly maybe I'm just a filthy Druid Enjoyer but my favourite card ever was Fandral Staghelm. I wish they brought back choose one as a mechanic one day.
The issue is I take one day off and then the next week is fucked on uploads, I like making videos my main issue is time to do it / just not having a good idea for the day.
Yeah, pirate rogue is great and you're basically only having a few different slots, garrote rogue will likely still be good for at least the next few expansions
@@FlareIsGone to be clear, when i listen and watch ur videos when i'm on my phone (with earphones) in this video to be specific, is quite hard to listen to FYI
