As an older musician, I would love to be able to document the music that has been living inside for many years now.

A focusrite interface is the exact piece of gear I need to complete my setup. This was recommended by a musician friend of mine. I am just getting started and working things out. I aim to start recording and putting my guitar and vocals to work in a real and practical way. Recording and uploading my music online. The focusrite interface would help me achieve this in a simple and practical way. I would love and appreciate this piece of equipment. Nah for real tho, I’ve been looking at this for weeks, I’d love a focusrite 4i4 to have an all-rounder for recording but also live set-up as a keyboard player. Love the video, keep it up!

My acoustic doesn’t have a built in preamp so this would help out tremendously when trying to record!!!

Great to see a discussion that’s just raw about a real bootstrap. That’s what the Scarlett would do for me is enable a smoother flow from instruments to the laptop. So the gear doesn’t get in the way of creating.

I love how amazingly determined Nathan is , and his story and absouloutly talented voice makes makes me want to be authentic to myslef and play for myslef ❤ I would love to use the audio interface as I am a young guitarist that would love to explore with this absouloutly , may I say beautiful gadget . I have a Focusrite Scarlett Solo, which is good but presents many limitations. A 4i4 would be the exact thing I need to up the quality and control I have over my recordings. Once I get to a point that I can get enough mics I could start recording individual drums, vocals and maybe even micing up amps to record guitars as opposed to using amp sims.

I've just joined a band and we want to record some demo's and work on producing them ourselves

I would record more of my own vocals and instruments and add more of “myself” to the music I create

I would use it for a shure sm57 so i can mic up my amp

With the interface, I'd be able to record my guitar directly, without using a mic in front of my amp
