Couldn’t agree more about the Primark clothes! 😂 they always go through such a strange transition stage between now and Winter- so frustrating! Especially when you’re in the mood for new bits!
I did couch to 5k over lockdown and I was so shocked at how good it was, I went from being able to run for 2 minute to 30 minutes, genuinely couldn’t believe how good it was and I thought I would never run for 30 minutes. Good luck I hope you enjoy it! Xx

Loved the haul Julie ☺️ I did couch to 5k back in 2020. My number one tip would be to go to a running shop and get gait analysis for proper running shoes. I started in cheaper trainers and had to stop running for 2 months as I needed specific shoes for over pronation and injured my knee - changing shoes was the best thing I did, definitely worth investing!
Yes,, good on you with getting back into running. It’s never been something that I’ve been interested in and I worked as a dancer when I was young. I would have chosen a more substantial running shoe though from Primark. They’re all similar prices. Good on you though for doing something that you love!!
For me it was the greggs cloth line in the summer ! Mind blowing .. greggs swimsuit. T shirts and shorts ! Who wants to be dressed like a sausage roll on holiday 😂 I’m 39 and just can’t see the logic xx
Good for you starting running again. I never ran a day in my life started the couch to 5k got 4 weeks in and love it. Really could see an improvement then I got pregnant and covid hit. So had to stop. Really want to start it up again.
As a runner I couldn't recommend anywhere other than decathlon. Running shorts are brill from there. All running clothing is really good there. Get a gait analysis for your shoes but the clothes id definitely give them a shout
Hi Julie Rachel here. Here's a tip about keys don't take you key off your keyring get yourself a key cut so you can have one in your waist pack and one your keyring so you don't have to faff around looking for your house key when your in a rush ie picking atticus from school.
I completed C25K a few weeks ago. I am doing it again starting Monday. I have grown to really enjoy running, but I need the accountability of doing it with a running club. Good luck! If you stick at it you'll smash it!
I did couch to 5k in February 2021 and when I started I couldn’t even run around my block. In the October of the same year I ran a 10k run for cancer you can do anything when you put your mind to it. Xxx
I was doing so well on couch to 5k until my arthritis started playing up and I had to stop. If you spend more money on anything I would suggest on your trainers as they really need to have good support etc. Love your vlogs xx
Hi Julie 👋 I did the Coach to 5K app during lockdown. It really helped my mental health by getting out and keeping fit. The coach to 5K app is really easy to follow and it helped improved my stamina over time. One thing I will say is that is really steps up when you get to Week 5. Good luck with it all 🤞
I did couch to 5k a while back. I got to week 3. It’s good but I found I struggled with self motivation. I stopped doing it for a while. I haven’t gone back to it but I’ve joined jog scotland. It’s basically a running group. I find it so much better. Everyone is so supportive. A huge part of it is in your mind. You have to keep pushing yourself. For example at my last jog scotland session I was going to stop and the person beside me said “Keep going, we’ll run to the next lamppost, you can do it”. At the moment I’m doing short bursts of jogging then a brisk walk. I’m working on my self motivation. You can do it Julie!😊🌟
Honestly I absolutely agree with Julie!!! I’m 16 and i have the exact same style as her! i don’t understand what people are wearing from primark as the colours are so bright! i love autumn and fall and the colour clothes it brings! love you julie 🍂
hahaha i went into primark yesterday and saw the silk shirts, it wasn't for me haha, just extremely bright! they did have a section of autumnal and beige clothing which was the best bit, also love primark candles xxx
Went to Primark the other day, didn't see the jumpers I'd saw on hauls. The place looked like a jumble sale. I ended up in the charity shops. Got myself a few jumpers. It's just the same to be honest. I quite enjoy a look in charity shops.
Yes i heard alot complain about the very Bright colours. Instead of the Autumn colours we are use too Though i saw that Green& Purple were in Fashion this season 🤔 . Great video Julie. Succes with your Running. Take care 🥰
I did running for years tried again now 43 wasnt for me joints hurt to much ive been on a fitness journey for last 5 months now and i do grow with jo workouts you should just have alook at them on youtube ive had amazing results ,upped my water intake and only eat between 1pm and 8pm and have cut out alot of carbs ,goodluck it does make u feel so much better in yourself, i do them everyday and do 3 workouts a day which add up to 1 hour xxx
Good vid. A nice vid for me would b you showing us you doing your nails. I paint my own nails too thou I have a basic manicure every 3 weeks as I cannot file to save my life lol. Would b interested in which nail varnish you use etc. X. The running gear looks good but as someone else said I would buy a pair of decent running trainers; your feet will thank you. Xxxx.
If I were you I’d get some proper running shoes - I started couch to 5k thinking much the same as you, but as soon as I got to running 5minute increments on the pavement I got really painful runners knees. Had to stop running a few weeks until they settled down. Bought running shoes - lesson learnt ! X
I brought every colour in the silk shirts , I love bright colours , the thought of walking around looking like the Great Depression dressed me , no no 😀 embrace colour 💫

Can you let us know if the sizing of pj’s is true to size please? I’m a size 8 but prob would get a medium as I hear the sizes are rubbish in primark … never bought from there yet but like the pj’s

I'm 46 and loving the 70s/90s vibes of the clothes in Primark at the moment. I've just bought some gorgeous satin loose combat trousers that toggle at the ankles 🙂
Juile I totally understand why you have gone for the primemark trainers. But take it from some one who has done couch to 5k and everything right up to a marathon invest in some decent trainers!!! Go to a specialist running shop get some properly fitted running shoes it will save you lots a aches and pains and potential injurys. Also I'd love to watch your progress pls vlog your running journey xx
