PaPaSea & I compete to sabotage each other's nuzlockes. Who will wipe first, and who will win the challenge?
Subscribe to PaPaSea!! - / papasea
Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the first randomized Pokémon on each route.
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode
Sabotage Challenge Ruleset:
7. No soft-locking your opponent
8. You must keep at least two Pokémon for the other player at all times
9. If your opponent wipes, you must complete their section, if you cannot, then you lose!

Pretty sure that first fight was still at least somewhat winnable, hoppip had synthesis and could have heal stalled lilipup for at least 2 turn before trying to tackle.

It’s such a rare event that it might replace “once in a blue moon” for events that effectively never happen even though they are plausible. The phrase would likely be “when Ledian carries my Nuzlocke team to victory”.

Fun fact In pokestar studios if you intentionally whiff the scripted battle against the pawniard by using a resisted ice punch it ends early and you can go free Still gotta slog through every thing else though

I know it's a little silly lol but you could've leveled up all the Pokemon in the battle box he was hiding to above the final level cap or to level 100 for exaggeration, just to rub in that you knew he was hiding them, and that now he can't use them, even though they're not released ;)

When I saw FlygonHG name the Ledian Logan, I was all like 'that's MY name!!!' and then I excitedly cheered Ledian on in all his fights. I was especially proud of Logan when he hit his fourth Giga Drain and took out the Seismatoad, which is one of my personal least favorite pokemon. The bumps and red eyes make me uncomfy. And he comes in clutch again when he takes out the Drapion! That's TWO of Ghestis's pokemon!!! Good job, little guy! A really good effort against Samurott, Logan! Too bad you're a Ledian and your stats suck. Still proud of you!!

Great video flygon! I'm say a great run would be stone evolutions only. It wagers the risk of choosing either fully evolutioned pokemon vs good moves! Love your videos!

A couple of Spanish guys did something cool which they called the "Bullyinglocke" in which basically every episode of the series the "bully" would invent a rule to follow for the player in that particular episode. I guess u can try it with a rule per gym or something like that

Maybe you forgot that Curse worked differently on Ghost types. I probably would've forgotten that since 99% of the time, Curse is used to buff attack and defense. I could see you doing that to set up Golurk.

It's worth noting that some people don't apply the species clause if you find the evo for a dead pokemon. It rarely comes up so I'm not surprised it wasn't discussed before the run.

Hiding pokemon was so incredible smart! Leave the other person with an unwinnable team and force them to wipe and then when you have to play the section just whip out the hidden pokemon and win

I really liked watching the back and forth sabotaging at the end of each section, that was fun. It was smart when PaPaSea left you right in front of that double battle with a pretty bad team. He made it incredibly easy for you to walk into an unprepared fight, while he would know to go back and get the Dratini if he had to play that section. If you do more of these challenges (which you should btw) I think those kind of sabotage strategies will succeed. Keep it up guys :)

Also if you’re ever looking for more nuzlocke challenge ideas I think doing an all female Pokémon nuzlocke, eeveelution, or colorful/rainbow for pride month could be cool :) really love your videos on here and the vod channel!

These sabotage rules kinda remind me of a similar kind of game a friend and I would play while playing GTA that we called “lemme me fix it for you”. Usually 4 or San Andreas, basically just taking turns doing something crazy that would get our character killed in the craziest and funniest way possible. Before the point of death, we would pause it and say “here I fixed it for you” and when they died, they’d do the same to me

Hey great video, it’s was your videos that made interested in playing Pokemon game. Thanks a lot for your great content. Had a suggestion for a challenge: Try Storm Silver and play hardcore nuzlocke. Instead of making it a single video make a small series out of it. Many love nuzlocke series as we see how difficult it is truest :)
