I love your technique, it turned out amazing! I would really like to see a tutorial of this cut done on curly hair. Would you execute the cut in the same manner through the back?
would this make thin hair look thinner? I've lost a lot of hair but i have length. it's starting to feel like body dysphoria, not having the weight I used to have in my hair.
Great question! We've linked an article below sharing all the details you need to know about this cut! Let us know if this is helpful to you!🥰 www.hair.com/octopus-haircut.html
I have curly hair and I did an octopus cut and it's different from my long big hair. I don't know how to maintain it 😢 my bangs are so long and even tho I put on glaze after I washed my hair and put on leave in conditioner the glaze won't say in like it used to

On curls 3b/c like mine!? Uhhh, I think it's not a god idea, to "fringy" for my taste 🤔 but without curls I think it's great... it's a matter of taste I think.
Great question! You can’t go wrong with a classic octopus haircut. The layers at the top are soft, blended, and long, while the remaining length is tighter. For everything, you should know about the cut we'll leave a link here: www.hair.com/octopus-haircut.html
The “octopus” haircut is just a goddamn LONG SHAG. That’s it. There’s nothing cutting edge or special about it. I guess you’re not familiar with the 80s? This cut was all over the place then. Especially with all the 80s “hair bands”; Poison, Def Leppard, Van Halen, etc. As a hairdresser myself, I get so tired of the hair industry trying to take old, basic ideas and repackage it as something new and revolutionary. I feel embarrassed by the idea of playing into all these dumb theatrics.
