See this excellent bird scaring windmill. Plus a quick look at my new home made testing mast and security tower. I made this one on the lathe completely from up-cycled discarded items I puchased from my local recycle centre. I like it as much as my NHS elbow crutch hack.

Hi Steph Thanks. The home is really peaceful. It is a nice place to live being surrounded by countryside and a beautiful river. There's very little trouble in the local area now as well which makes all the difference.

Does it actually scare them away for more than a few days, till they get used to it?

Hi I have been unable to analyze the data. This is because since I have put it up I haven't seen or heard the noise of one seagull. I haven't wasted my money though, as I really like looking at windmills, plus the mast tower I made, that it is mounted on, is a multi functional designed piece of kit. Regards Steve

Hi Steve, We have trouble with starlings certain times of the year, they land in a conifer & make a noise all day with out a break for about a week, it doesn't help that a neighbour feeds them, after watching your video we will be ready next time! From Coventry UK.

I live in downtown. The reflected light from the mirrors would drive my neighbours, and probably me, insane.

How deep is the securing clamp, would it go onto the top of a tv aerial?

I used to scare birds as a living many years ago on an international airport. This piece of kit is unfortunately a complete waste of money. Birds are very intelligent and will simply learn that this unit is no threat and ignore it. I wish that you would make a film about your mental health issues and how they affect your life, I'm sure that it would be of much greater value.
