I thought Beatty’s answers were often a rambling mess. This looks like he was testing the waters for a political run but obviously he needs to do a lot more work to take the heat in a real political setting
@@mikebrown965 I agree. People like Peter Biskind have long argued that Beatty's shambling persona at political events was a deliberate attempt to offset his star power, but the truth is that he's not much at speeches.
Notwithstanding his cogent arguments his wincing, stuttering, stammering, continuous blinking (beats Hugh Grant) and apparent shyness could we'll be vanity. He himself once said that excessive shyness is disguised vanity.....you walked into the party...as if you were walking onto a yatch...
Actually it's more of a case study of a doofus named Scott Watrous, a mediocrity babbling on the internet about a video he didn't watch, and a guy he knows absolutely nothing about.
