Macrame cord or craft cord can be a good substitute for Puglisi hair and can be less expensive. Buddy Price demonstrates how to separate the cord as well has package the material once its separated.
I saw Buddy do this couple years ago at a florida tying show, I even made my own dubbing by carding yarn, all because I couldn't find the color I liked.
