बहुत अच्छा लगा। एक बार उनसे पूछा गया था कि दूसरे संगीतकारों के कौनसे गीत उन्हें पसंद है? उन्होंने कहा कोई भी नही। तब उस शख्स ने कहा हुसैन जी हजारों गीतों मे से कोई तो गीत होगा जो आपको अच्छा लगा हो तब उन्होंने कहा बर्मन दा का मेघा छाए आधी रात। फिर उन्होंने कहा यह गाना और भी अच्छा बन सकता था। वाकई हिन्दी फिल्मी गीतों मे राग पातझड़ मे यह शायद एक ही गीत है। मेघा छाए आधी रात बैरन बन गयी निंदिया

One of the instrumentalists of "Yeh hawa yeh raat yeh chandni" was a sitar player, who later on was bestowed the title of "Pandit." It is said that he played one of the notes incorrectly in the song. Whenever Sajjad Sahib heard that song, he cringed at the spot where that note appeared. This also shows his nature as a perfectionist. Excellent presentation on Great Music Composer Ustad Sajjyad Hussain Sahab with well researched script. Its not a simple thing to have a mastery over more than 20 musical instruments. There are very few music composers like this. No doubt Sajjayd Hussain Sahab was a very talented music composer as evident from the immortal songs he gave to Indian Film Industry. Apart from whatever observed about his personal nature, He was a perfectionist and honest man man in his work. My tributes to this great music composer. 👍🌹🙏.

I met Sajjad Husain's son Mushtafa....he made it very clear that owning a non hunting dog is haram and we never had a dog at-home. As confirmed by people who were present at Naushad Sahab's place have first hand given information Sajjad Husain did mention in his essays that "such names can only be given to dogs". When Naushad Sahab was confronted on this he laughed. It is true that Naushad did send money to him when he was very sick during his last days. As per Lata Ji's testimony she says "he was the only one music director I was scared of" very strict. 🙏

सज्जाद चाहे जितने काबिल मौसिकार रहे हों पर नौशाद के आगे कुछ भी नहीं। नौशाद क्या, रौशन, शकंर जैकिशन, सी रामचंद्र, सचिन देव बर्मन, लक्ष्मी प्याऱेलाल, चित्र गुप्त, खय्याम व अन्य के बाद ही सज्जाद का नाम लिया जाएगा। अहंकार कभी जीता नहीं और विनम्रता कभी हारी नहीं।

BEHIND THE CAMERA I always wondered why my favorite music director........SAJJAD HUSSAIN...... didn't have more movies? You have given me the answer. Thank You. People who have perfected their ART.....have no patience with people who don't STRIVE for perfection. Lata understood the passion of Sajjad and I wish more people had done so. We could have had more MELODIOUS songs from SAJJAD I feel sad that a wonderful music director's career was cut short because people didn't realize that his RARE MUSICAL TALENT needed to be nurtured.

सबसे बड़ी बात तो यह है कि सज्जाद हुसैन को यह महसूस होने लगा के पुरी फिल्मी दुनिया में उस जैसा संगीतकार नहीं है तो सुपर कांप्लेक्शन हो जाना स्वाभाविक है ऐसे उच्च कोटि के संगीतकार को सम्मान मिलना तो जरूरी है जिनको नहीं समझ थी वही लोग ऐसे अड़े हैं आ कर दिलीप साहब को उन्होंने बहुत अच्छा जवाब दिया

सज्जाद सहाब के यह दो गीत जो फिल्म संगदिल मैं पेश किए गए हैं, यह हवा ये रात ये चांदनी. वो तो चले गए ऐ दिल. वो shahkar गीत हैं जिन्हें यह दुनिया कभी भुला नहीं सकेगी. सज्जाद साहब हमेशा इन गीतों में ज़िन्दा रहैँगे. काश वह इतनी हेकड़ तबीयत के मालिक न होते.

Beshaq Sajjad Husain sahab bahut Shreshth Sangitkar the. Bahut hi Shreshth aur hatke Rachnayen Prastut kee hain. Parantu kisi ko itna bhi Ghamandi nahi hona chahiye. Kyun ki Vidya Vinayen Shobhte!!! Fir tumhari yaad aayi and khuda jaane kya Dastaan ho gayi hai. 2 great songs. Uske pehle ke jo gaane dikhaye unko evaluate karna ya even process karna thoda mushkil hai mere liye. Mere kaan aadi hi nahi hai itne slow gaano ko sunne ke liye.
