Pizza pie, or an interpretation of "Chicago Pizza".
Dough:
Water - 1 cup (300ml) (room temperature)
Flour - 3 cups
Dry yeast - 5g (10g pressed)
Salt, Sugar - 1 tsp each.
Vegetable oil - 100ml
Mix all the ingredients in the water. Knead the dough for 7-10 minutes. Lubricate with vegetable oil and cover with a film. Leave in a warm place for 40-60 minutes. As soon as the dough is suitable, we grind it and cut it into 2 parts. We crush each part and leave it for another 20-30 minutes.
Tomato sauce for pizza:
Onion - 1 piece
Garlic - 3 cloves
Fresh basil - 1 bunch
Tomatoes in their own juice - 1 jar
Salt, Sugar, dry garlic, smoked paprika, hot pepper, dry basil - to taste
Minced meat - 200g (optional)
Minced meat does not go into the classic tomato sauce, but I added it for taste and experiment) By the way, if you add pasta to such a sauce with minced meat, you will get a great dinner
Fry the onion, garlic, and minced meat in a frying pan for 5-7 minutes. Add tomatoes in their own juice and all the spices. Stir and simmer until excess water evaporates. Add the chopped basil, stir and simmer for another 5 minutes. Let it cool down and the sauce is ready 🤌
🍕 Sprinkle the tabletop with flour. Carefully spread the risen dough, pressing with your hands starting from the center. Grease the baking dish with butter, put the first part of the dough on top. We spread a row of pepperoni and cheese on top. A LOT OF CHEESE, I got 400g of suluguni.
🍕 Close with the second part of the dough and press the sides well. In the center we make a couple of cuts, cut off the excess dough. We spread our ready-made sauce on the second part of the dough.
Further - according to taste and desire. You can add more pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, bacon, cheese) yes, anything 🤗
