Hey everyone! I hope that you enjoyed this video! I have been listening to your feedback and reading hundreds of comments everyday in order to provide you with the most value that I can. I have been working hard to show more ethnic diversity on the channel and that is why I picked Kerri for this makeover. Kerri is a Southern Labrador Indigenous Canadian woman and she is gorgeous in every way! It was such an honour and pleasure to do her makeup. Let me know if you have any questions here in the comments and I'll try my best to get to as many as I can. Join my email list here: www.glamgirlgabi.com/blog/join-my-email-list
agreed!! I also would love to see a lash protocol for aging eyes. I'm over 60 and have deep set eyes, I want to look classy, elegant, and sexy! I have quite a few lashes but they're very light. thank you ! I love your videos❣
Love this video and I learned so much. Would love to see the dos and don’ts of putting on fake lashes. I’ve always struggled with putting on fake lashes especially with hooded eyes. always seem to fall off halfway through the event and I could never get both sides to be even. The struggle is real.😂
She looks so beautiful and naturally gorgeous before and like an absolute Hollywood star after. That skin! Those eyes! The hair! Gabi is a makeup wizard for sure and also had a lovely canvas to work with here!
Okay, your modely, Kerri is STUNNING even before you glam her up. Her flawless complexion and adorable freckles, bright happy countenance, and then the gorgeous soft glam look you gave her... LOVE! I'm saving this video to rewatch so I can also retain all of the great tips you gave.
Yes! Please do a lash video and Kerry's hair video. I have similar hair color so this video is very helpful. She looks amazing with seemingly little effort.
Gabi, this is an awesome transformation! I would love an eyelash tutorial. Plus the best hair products for 55+ to get some life back into the hair, please. I love your videos! You rock!
Kerri is such a natural beauty. Your makeup choices, techniques and application is perfect. Lovely, lovely video. I would be delighted to see a false eyelash tutorial by you, Gabi. God bless you, both.
I just came upon your channel. I love it. There is hope for me. I'm 67 and just starting learning to put on makeup. I've only used mascara and a bit of blush and lipstick. I'm learning lots. I would love to see a lash information session.. So much changes as we age. 30 years ago soon many told me I looked like Lady Diana. Not 30 yrs later. Confidence is key. Thank you for teaching.
A lash video for hooded eyes would be awesome! Iget so frustrated everytime I "try" to wear them. A video on that hair would be great as well. Oh, and something for those of us with hooded eyes and baggage (aka bags). A way to make them not quite as noticeable would be much appreciated. ❤ you and your videos!!
Gabi, thank you for helping us to look our best as we age. I'm 55 and have had difficulties with foundation for about 10years. I've spent too much time trying to get my base right, and have now given up, like many ladies my age and older. My skin looks worse with foundation, BB, CC cream or even tinted sunblock than without. I've tried to ensure perfect skin prep, checked the primer and foundation are chemically harmonious, (water w water & silicone w silicone base) have used recommended combos, used products priced high and low, have had makeup artists and estheticians do their best BUT to no avail. I hide from photos at special events, and even informal family get togethers, especially as cameras are very clever and everything ends up online😅😢 The problem is ... 1. I am very fair and must wear sunscreen outdoors; the makeup will pill no matter how long I wait before applying anything else. 2. (Without pre-applied sunscreen) Makeup doesn't sit in my pores revealing a dot of colour, but rather circles them. I have fair, fine, sensitive, dryish skin prone to rosacea, but with barely an enlarged or noticeable pore in sight if I don't wear foundation. I'd like the colour correcting and evening properties of foundation but just cannot get a presentable finish. The makeup seems to break down around the pore. I've tried various powders and setting sprays, but nothing really improves matters. I'd love your help and advice.❤ Thanks for your channel, I love your focused approach without any waffle, and your inclusive approach to age and skin colour and texture. Much ❤ from Australia
You never fail to impress! I just love your videos😍. Turning 60 this year and I’ve already asked my husband to use your link to get me the LED face mask ☺️. A lash video would be awesome! Thanks beautiful you! Xo 🇨🇦
Lash video, gray hair video…give me all the GGG videos! Kerri is a true beauty and you enhanced her natural features perfectly. I try to taper the bridge of my nose but there is small hump at the top that is actually flat, wide, crooked with a boney ridge that is more pronounced on one side than the other. (Clearly my least favorite feature - ha!). I try to carve out a uniform look but it brings more attention to the uneven ridge. So I just use subtle bronzer or blush across the entire bridge and focus on making the bottom look more like a button shape. I am comfortable with that but tutorials on how to disguise challenging nose shapes would be helpful too!
She is naturally beautiful. Gorgeous and sophisticated after makeup! I love her salt and pepper hair and how beautiful it looked after the velcro curlers.
I enjoy your videos so much! I'm almost 53 and I find them so incredibly helpful. I also appreciate the products you use. A lash tutorial would be awesome. Thank you Gabi!!
I’m 63, silver almost white hair. I have learned the most important thing I can do is get a shower filter. Cost is less than $40 and change the filter out every 6 months. My gray hair absorbs everything. I would love to see a video on tips for gray hair. Also, a tutorial on false lashes. Thank you so much. I learn so much from your videos.
Loved this makeover! She’s gorgeous and I love the natural glowy look you created. I’d love a lash video I have tried them and can never get them in the right place and then they fall off. Thanks for all you do! ❤😊
How about very mature women i.e. those in their mid-late 60’s into their 70’s. We have the most issues to deal with such as lines, texture, dryness and sagging. I realize makeup can’t change these issues but it would be nice to know how to make makeup work for us rather than age us. Thank you! Love your channel.
Most of my tutorials are on age 60 and 70. This is the first one I’ve done on a woman in her late 40s (youngest model on the channel so far). Have you looked around the channel? Make sure to do that so you can find more useful tutorials for your specific needs :)
I want to thank in you for recommending the Revlon caramel eyeshadow. I bought it and used it today and I love it; it’s beautiful! And the tip about using acne eyeliner brush is fabulous!!!
Hi from British Columbia Gabi! I loved this video, the makeup is so beautiful and natural for an easy, every day look. It is so nice to have you provide the links to all products used, they are inexpensive with a high end result. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
But.. how old is she?? No jowls, no turkey wattle or neck wrinkles, just silver grey hair, which is beautiful and thick! She certainly doesn't look like an "older" woman to me. Rosemarie ❤
My thoughts too…and her bare skin looks beautiful too. No deep lines, wrinkles, jowls, loose skin on her @ all. Let’s see a woman with large pores and all the things in her 60’s please.
My thoughts exactly. She has absolutely perfect skin and most mature women don’t look like her. She should get models who are more representative of reality. Like you said, women who have wrinkles, jowls, etc. Watching her put makeup on a woman who has zero skin aging issues isn’t helpful at all.
I really loved your video! Just what I needed. I’m transitioning to gray hair in my early 40s. Please do more videos like this, also hair care and styling please.
I love that you featured this lovely Kerri as she has similar eye shape as a lot of Asian women. This is the 1st makeup tutorial that featured someone with MY eye shape! Thank you so much for diversifying ethnicities on your channel! We need more Asian makeup tutorials for makeup looks that are not "trendy Korean Glass Skin" looks or "Anime" related looks. God bless you and your family always! Amazing content!
Loving all these tips and techniques to minimize time-consuming work on makeup. My nose is my weakest, and contouring is daunting for me so I use the nosesecret splints really do the work without extensive work
Carrie is beautiful, both before and after. You achieved such a lovely yet natural look. I would love to see how you styled her hair, which is very similar to mine. Thanks for sharing!
Oh my goodness - she was beautiful before but just stunning after! I can't believe what a difference the lashes made - please do a video on application. At 67 my eyes are very hooded. I tried to apply lashes one time and literally glued my eye shut - not even kidding 🙄😂😂.
Wow! I LOVE the natural makeup on her. She is so beautiful to begin with but the natural-looking makeup was absolutely gorgeous! And adding the strip lashes made her eyes even more beautiful! Thank you for this video and the wonderful tips. 💕
I recently found this video and I am so glad I did! Your explanation of the products you used on this beautiful lady helped me process what I need to do regarding my makeup. I also have a warm skin tone with a cool salt and pepper hair color. I have struggled over the last few years in choosing appropriate colors for my brows, eyeliner, eyeshadow etc. A million thanks!
Thank you for featuring a POC model with hooded eyes! As an Asian woman with hooded eyes, I appreciate that so much! The advice on how to do makeup on hooded eyes is very helpful. I would love to see a video on lashes. Question: does applying liner to the water line ever irritate the eyes? And how do you get it off without getting makeup remover in the eyes?
Love Kerry’s makeup - she was adorable to begin with and the added makeup really enhances her pretty face. I love that the look is minimalistic and clean . Very classy and elevated!
I'm 53 with dry skin, but prefer a powder foundation. I use the nyx pump concealer to cover rosacea and any skin issues. I found the laura gellar powder foundation that doesn't dry my skin or settle into lines as long as I use it with a fluffy brush. That combo works great for me but I like the pro glow if I do use liquid.
Great video, Gabi. She looks fantastic. By the way, if you look at the City Beauty site, you'll see your name in the tile with the multi action firming cream review dated 10/2023. I'm on autoship and wanted everyone to know I'm using it because of you and LOVE it. I use the City Beauty lip gloss, too. I need to get on the Elf train now also. I'm so happy you showed us the brow flick. I wish I could do the top waterline, but I can't get mine to stay on. Love it all.❤❤❤ Came back to say yes, yes, yes, please do a lash video. Please.
Yes, please show how to use lashes on different eye shapes. I've never been able to master using them! And also products for silver and salt and pepper hair.
Castor oil on lashes and brows is wonderful, natural and cheap. Also from Revive essential oil they have two products I have just started using which are called skin care and hair care. All natural, inexpensive wonderful products.
Aaaaah, where do I start? This is my next to favorite video of yours. (The La'dor products being my favorite, I use the Perfect Hair Fill-Up every week!-GAME CHANGER!). I LOVE this look, it's so me! She's really pretty and you just made her look fresh and glowing, accentuation her natural beauty. I'm going to try this tomorrow for work with products I have-no bronzer as I've never used it. I have another product I think I can use though. My issue....I have terrible (I mean really bad) dark circles and the corners of my eyes and places that look indented that take more work, so hard for me! I've also never used false lashes but those make such a difference and look SO natural! I'm almost excited to go to work in the morning! I would really like to see how you did her hair, mine is just a little longer and not as silver. It's in that in-between mousey color. Blah! How do you or your clients address that? Thank you so much!
Thank you for doing this video. It was simple and easy to understand while using products that are affordable and accessible. She looks gorgeous ... even without makeup. I definitely will try the lashes and would love if you could do a video explaining how to apply them.
I would love a lash application video! I have a drawer of every brand and I have never been able to get any of them on. You took a beautiful lady and gave her a stunning look. So, so beautiful!!
Yes, a lash video would be great! I’m 57, and I’ve never worn false eyelashes. I’m very curious! Which type is best for a novice? What brand do you recommend? Best way to attach them? Can you wear mascara? How many times can you wear a pair before you throw them away? How long can you wear them? How do you safely remove them? So many questions!!!!
Oh Gabi, what a beautiful look you created without it looking like make up!! Kerry looks like she had 12 hrs sleep, she looks refreshed, wide awake and has a youthful, lit from within glow!! Xx
Thanks so much, this is so helpful. Also, yes I'd like to see the lash application, especially for hooded eyes. You are so lovely and I love your work Gabi.
Kerry is a beautiful woman and her after look is stunning! An alternative to the Glossier Brow Flick is the NYX Lift and Snatch. I have been using for a few months and my eyebrows have been getting a lot of compliments. I notice that the NYX version has more color options and is more affordable.
The L’oréal True Match Lumi foundation is very nice as well. I’m 64 with some wrinkles etc. and it feels great and has a nice luminosity to it. I believe I saw the Elf concealer on one of your previous videos I so bought it and I love it.
Keri, you are gorgeous before and after. Love your freckles and salt and pepper hair! Thank you, Gabi for addressing those of us with hooded/monolid eyes. Knew about lining the water line. Will look for a tiny brush to do an ultra thin liner and work on shading the crease. Would love to see how you did Keri's hair.
Yes please I would love to know about fale eyelashes and especially how to put them on. Thank you. Your videos are fantastic, I have learned so much. ❤
