I'm surprised you didn't mention Buried. On that map, if you gave candy to Arthur near a crawler, he would hold it indefinitely, which was helpful to do the easter egg or other things around the map.
I thought about it, but I didn’t want the video to be bogged down with map specific details. There was a similar feature with one of the plants on Zetsubou, I wish more maps had something like it too
That’s not true sadly, Leeroy will eventually squeeze the crawler too tight and kill it. It seems to vary on exactly how long it takes but it is not indefinite at all
@@microsoftsamreloaded3558no crawlers themselves don't help that much, as it also disables the ability to kill zombies via them bleeding out after headshots, BUT the zombies no longer being able to gib (arms can't come off etc) made resets higher
@@theGODZILLA150 It's coming back to me now. Something along the lines of "ohh I have a little pet. I'm gonna take it out for a walk while the rest of you [do something]"
Yknow I really wish they didn't make crawlers start despawning in bo2. I can understand where they were coming from with that change, specifically on Tranzit because with the sheer enormity of that map it would be a nightmare to wait for them to slowly make their way to you, but I think they should have made crawler despawns a feature that was EXCLUSIVE to Tranzit just to address the issue on that map specifically. I really like the novelty of leaving a crawler around to be able to spin the box a couple times, run around and rebuild barriers, or just being able to wander around the map at the end of a round and get stuff done without fear of the last zombie just randomly dying on you. It let you control the pace of the game in a way that later zombies games simply don't allow you to. You really start to notice how easily zombies in bo2 will just die on you on larger maps like mob or origins that require you to do a lot of chores (on origins specifically because it's absolutely gut-wrenching to have the last zombie die on you only to realize that it's round 7 and a panzer is now going to spawn on top of you because you weren't babysitting the last zombie while juggling 15 other tasks). It's one of the reasons I still think, despite bo2 being the better game overall, bo1 has the best engine for zombies.
You forgot to mention crawlers in BO3 would retain their health whenever they respawn, so trying to blow its legs off again would more than likely kill it
Hey got an idea for a series: training spots for all maps or high round strategies for each map maybe even speedrun strategies, just quick explanations. Just an idea I know I would watch them.
Sometimes, a friend would turn a zombie into a crawler. And ask me to keep it company while said friend is out upgrading or preparing for the next round, or worse.. Working on the Easter Egg. Since the latter tend to take some time, and that running around and jumping around a Crawler isn't actually entertaining, I tend to start mocking the crawler or making some really bad jokes.. That is an indirect way to annoy my friend to hurry up if he took too long.
I swear I thought they removed crawlers from bo3. It wasn’t until I remembered that there are gobble gums specifically to make crawlers that I remembered they existed lmao
Algorithm put this one out for me and it's such a random subject that I've never really given much thought to but, it grabbed my attention because of that and really intrigued me. Great video all around man keep up the great work!
It really depends on your gameplay for the first three black ops games. I find myself seeing crawlers more in BO2 & BO2 than I ever did in WaW or BO1. But yeah in Cold War you pretty much have to intentionally try to get a crawler unless you’re using like the RPG or M79 at really high rounds
If you're going to go out of your way to talk about vanguard even if only for a second, why can't you talk about AW,IW, or WW2? This toxic treyarch mentality of ignoring those entries as legitimate is fustrating to say the least.
Yeah, that’s fair. I haven’t played them as much as the Treyarch games, so I don’t know them as well, but they’re still good games. I should do some more content on them
I never owned black ops 4, or infinite warfare and im happy to say that i never bought them, they seemed boring and i predicted them to die out very fast, as they did
