I have exactly the same, had and have other Rolex watches, but exactly THIS watch (which many refer to as an “old man's watch”) I find to be exactly the opposite. It can be worn with anything from a T-shirt to a suit, even with a Hawaiian shirt. Incredible timepiece!
I agree completely. I call it an old man watch because it reminds me of my grandfathers watch. These days I wear it with shorts and a T and I love the look.
This must be the most faked of all the Rolex models and some are almost perfect but to own the real thing ! This is the absolute quintessential time piece. A work of art that all other watch makers aspire to. In my opinion it is up there with the Patek elipse and the Blancpain Fifty fathoms. Closely followed by the Vacheron Patrimony and the Jeager Reverso. I have even seen a guy swimming in the ocean proudly wearing one. Also it has to be the jubilee bracelet for me. Got the exact same watch here in Copenhagen, Denmark a month ago. Still getting used to wearing a gold watch in public 😅 waited 4 months for the AD to get it in stock
Btw was torn between this and a white gold blue dial option, but was told the wait list for that one was around 2 years. So that made the decision a lot easier
Love the two tone. Just picked up my Wimbledon this week. It came in, they called me, and $$$ later I have it. I opted for the smoothie bezel and oyster. Feel this fits my personality compared to the fluted jubilee. I’m sure down the road I’ll have a to get a fluted jubilee though. Looks great on you.
I went with the Yacht Master 42mm White Gold on oyster flex bracelet. Love how it’s under the radar. The way it’s balanced feels amazing though. Next I am getting a dayjust. I am just waiting on a call anytime now 😏
I just got my today. Live in South Cali. Orange County i was at south coast plaza. Nice mall in Costa mesa. Walked past the rolex store. Think for a second. Turn around and walked in. Asked the dealer. Is there any chance u have any rolex for sale? He told me he got a 126333 datejust 41mm white dial. Price was 14750+tax. Came out to be $15900. I'm so happy im still up 1am in California time. Looking at RU-vid about my watch. 😊
That’s where I bought this! I called looking for this exact configuration and they pretty much said “can you come by today or tomorrow?” That boutique is wonderful.
