That Bluesy is the absolute best looking two-tone Rolex watch to me. Just got the latest 126613LB, amazing. I happen to prefer the white lettering, but both look great. This was my first choice, I really didn't want another black dial Sub. I'm talking about wearing and enjoying, not speculating on future value. That blue dial really stands out in a sea of black dials.
1000% agree!! White letters match with index color , look like sky/sea and cloud and sun for the gold ...best looking and feeling watch imo , i dont want any watch more , this come with all !💙💛👑
@@mrglock2313 totally agree...people are scared to wear gold , but for that kind of price its better and really more nice , blue/white/gold are best colors match in rolex range.. I love the green dial of the hulk and specially of tha daytona full gold (j.mayer)
Thank you for this video! I bought the exactly the same configuration of datejust you showed in the video this week. I never thought about chocolate, but when I saw in the everose gold 🤯… went to a boutique the next day and they have the yacht master rose with chocolate, the time I did wear it I knew the color was perfect. Sent a message to Pride and Pinion and they got it sourced! Next week I’ll be with my datejust two tone
BTW channel is awesome. I am addicted to watch videos, I go to sleep listening to Tim Mosso, but a couple days the first time RU-vid shows me this... how can I have missed this! I'll binge-watch everthing!!! I especially loved the Cartier CPCP video, more rare stuff please!
I really don’t care if everyone else hates two toned watches. I’ve been on the list for the Bluesy Sub and I got the call on Tuesday. I’m now wearing my dream watch.
Didn’t give it a second look initially. But I keep coming back to the Bluesy - particularly the last generation with the gold text on the dial. It’s niiiice.
Just got one (41 TT rose with the Wimbledon dial). Looks stunning in person and IMO perfectly straddles the line between tasteful and flashy. It definitely gets a lot of attention though, and not always the kind of attention you want
I tried that exact Datejust on at London. Beautiful watch. I was able to score the current Rootbeer but that was tempting. Two tone Bluesy? Never a bad choice. I say if you can get and afford an all yellow gold sub, you rock that sub.
Both are absolute beauties in their respective classes & would love either one, as of now I would go for the Sub.Bluesy , however the new Chocolate D.J. is a very close 2nd. & the best D.J. put out.( 70hrs.p.r.) Great video . P.S. Tx.
I am with you on this. I couldn't at this point get a 2 tone Rolex so I went with the Tudor Chrono S&G. Beautiful watch. I told myself to not get another Rolex due to its crazy pricing. But this Bluesy is calling me every day. Haha...
Two tone is always a better choice and value I think, esp for the sport series where the gray market for stainless steel version can price way much higher. Two tone alleviates the luxury feel and you feel it is money worth spent.
The best looking two tone ROLEX is the Sub Bluesy without a doubt. Great contrast and the blue dial goes so well with the 18K solid gold. The bluesy professional watch is really the only ROLEX watch you need as it goes so well with jeans/t-shirt and also with formal wear. Its an unique piece!! Lucky if you can find one now unless you pay over $22K USD for one.
Amazing video! i myself own a two tone sub - wear it daily. Adidas sliders, shorts and t-shirt are going well with it as the rest of my wardrobe. Best watch money can buy for sure. Purely sporty aggressive statement mixed with the tenderness of gold. Still possible to find at your local AD unlike any other steel option. So pull that trigger

so pissed that rolex doesnt do the chocolate dial on many watches, its by far my favourite dial of any watch, besides patek phillipes complication and grand complication lines, just wish there was more selection for the chocolate dial
Totally agree with your video. The 116613LB TWO-TONE BLUESY is amazing! I believe it's much better for so many other reasons than the New 126613LB. For one it is the FIRST GENERATION of the Ceramic Bezel, Glide Clasp, Solid Links AR Coating on the inside of the Sapphire Crystal not on the outside where it can be Scuffed or Scratched and the Textile is in Gold not white painted on text. Also Maxi Case is DISCONTINUED.
116613lb is top but the new one with new case and white letters is more nice 100% , old lugs was too big and 2010 to 2015 the blue dial is flat blue not sunburst so totally different , i hope your 116613lb is made after 2015 🙏 Its some details , both are crazy and stunning watch , but we like to speak about the model we wear like a football team!🤣🤣🤝🤝enjoy and sorry for my strange english...
I think there is a natural upgrade path from all steel to two tone. People, like myself, who have all steel Rolex watches (Sub and Dj41) enjoy their more conservative, more hard wearing and practical steel watches but keep an eye on two tone wondering whether we could pull that look off. Or, moreover, stump up the eye watering prices all invested in one watch. What puts me off the two tone sub with the blue dial is that that colour palette is fairly ostentatious. The piece no longer flies under the radar but shouts about its exclusivity and high price. I find the colours almost obnoxious. The Datejust shown, however, in muted earthy rose gold and brown tones does look rather smart without being gawdy and an assault on the senses. The brown sunray dial does marry with the rose gold, even nicer in the Yachtmaster configuration. But is it for me? Do I want that much cash invested in one watch that might go missing one day? Or attract the wrong kind of attention. I can’t see it. Whether these watches are good looking or a bit much is moot. They are attractive nonetheless. And the disadvantage of all that polished gold on an oyster bracelet is that it’ll be the scratch magnet of all time. Especially that clasp. Mirror finished steel is bad enough.
Just got myself a batman and a DJ Wimbledon pink gold 2 tone 41mm jubilee. Beautiful daily watches. The rose gold wimbledon is the better of the 2. Its a knockout. Like a mirrirball of class
Really depends on your personal identity. If you are a rapper I don’t see why you want two-tone. A full gold watch matches your vibe. If you are working a corporate job, two-tone is a good choice since full gold is a bit too much.
I am definitely interested in the blue sub in this video. I would rather have some precious metal on my watch. This watch looks like it would go with blue jeans or a suit. I say hot!!
I get when people say go for full gold, go for shiny platinum. But stainless steel? Are you kidding? I know they are selling well but aesthetically you want to drop 10-20k on a stainless steel watch? They just look DULL.
Two tone are hot because you cant buy the SS. Everything goes up when rolex produce less SS, its demand and supply. They are genius, the gold and two tone has always sold under list, not anymore. So clever
You know what, we live in a weird world. A lovely two tone Daytona goes for half the price of a relatively ugly steel or ceramic one, and for about the price of retail or a bit above, and can be bought any day of the week pre-owned. Two tone black dial, white dial, champagne dial. But nobody wants them. Yet people are complaining about the Daytona drought... waitlist for decades... it makes no sense whatsoever. Its worse with Submariners, a two-tone vintage sub is the same price than its steel cousin. And the two-tone vintage GMT is even 1000$ cheaper than the steel version!
