The Zoom Ring is an Encoder... Zoom via Keys or App can be implemented without a Problem.

Correct. They need to make it an option

Im with you regarding the focusing, i think pulsar have got that completely wrong.

Yeah sometimes there doesn't seem to be a lot of thought behind the design. Its like moving to tube style scopes, makes it so much harder to increase the focal length as opposed to the trail style scopes.

Yeah absolutely. But regarding the thermal spotter design it should be a one handed operation not two unless they are bino's of course. This unit looks nice but it's like they have taken a step backwards.

@jimwood yep agreed. I found the mergers a step back from the accolades because the accolades I could use one handed as the focus was at the back. I’ll sacrifice that though as I use the XL50 mergers as they’re just stunning

@HuntTheNight to be honest I haven't tried either as yet only seen footage on RU-vid. I did have a look through the raptors from hik they were good. I'm hoping to get a pair of the new gemini from Infiray to test and review, but I'm currently testing the TL50 thermal scope from Infiray so once I'm done with that hopefully I will have those sent to me. The thing with pulsar is they have been at the top of the game for a long time when it comes to thermal, but the rest have closed the gap massively and the fact pulsar products are so expensive could well be their downfall in the end.
