I’ve got the 35…love it for close in rats

Great short review thanks but we’ve already corresponded as to how do you zero it? There is a video which is not really self explanatory as at 100m we couldn’t get an impact on a 100x 80cm board. It required moving in closer until eventually at 25m we got a bullet hole just on the RH edge of the target. We then discovered that moving the X and Y coordinates moves 1.6cm per click and unfortunately just as we’d got alignment with the X and made a large adjustment for the Y as was printing some 25cms lower, upon firing the unit came apart bounced off the bench and fell onto the snow covered gravel beneath. The outside of the collar was marked so we’ve requested to buy a new retaining collar and shim but no spares are available at this time so we have an expensive defunct item until a decision is made to move forward. The essence of the matter is that it took some 24 shots to get on the target the conclusion being that this particular device hadn’t had the internal camera aligned at the factory hence approx 5m off at 100m. The previous V2 unit we have simply clipped on and we were good to go with the day scope zero. All this despite setting the unit back to factory settings. The Meopta day scope on this 6.5 PRC is perfectly zeroed at 100m. I’ll now consider abandoning the Infiray mounting system which came apart and investigate a Rusan system as that is what we used on the Infiray V2 with absolutely no problems. Your thoughts and any guidance would be welcome please

@hunthenight Do the IOM attachments solely give you eye relief and magnification? Are there any other benefits compared to using the built in digital zoom functions of the MAH50 itself?

Do you know how to perform a software update on the MATE series? The Infiray app does not recognize the mate other than displaying live feed and pictures. Infiray support was not helpful and said that they understood the issue between the app and MATE.

Do you have video of a day scope reticle through the MaH50

For dedicated clip-on use only. For the most narrowest FOV with the most pixel on target. What would be the best option for long range shooting? 1. Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 2. Infiray Mate MAH50 3. Hikmicro Thunder 2.0 TQ50C 4. Any other civilian thermal options?

Out of all the clipons I’ve tested it’s the MAH50. But you want to make sure you’ve got a 56mm diameter scope with parallax adjustment to get the most out of it.

@@HuntTheNight So no-go for the Hik? Would the impressive 20mK NETD be realistic? Not sure if these "specs" translate to real life image experience. And i do not know how honest these numbers are form different manufactures. Initially i would trust pulsar as a european company more than a china company 🤔 But please tell me if i am wrong for thinking this. Thanks for replying btw!

@@JarnesM yeah the best thermal in the world comes out of China, so does the worst, our job is to make sure we're just selling the best. China are the world's leading electronic and semi conductor designers and manufacturers. The HIK is good but really tops out at about 7 power on the day magnification. It's also longer and a bit harder to use overall. Image Signal Processing, which is the core interpreting what the sensor is seeing has a much greater influence than MKV (which there is no industry standard for measurement). The Krypton is an excellent unit and one I'm starting to use a bit more for short to mid range shooting, but the MAH50 is just stunning. The only real let down is the internal battery. If you look under our live video tab you'll see and hour long deep dive into clip ons, it's worth the watch.

@@HuntTheNight Are you referring to actual objective diameter of 56mm or the exterior of the scope? For example the Vudu 5-25x is a 50mm objective with a 58mm exterior diameter.

What’s the max useable magnification that you’re able to use with the MAH50? Was thinking of running a Nightforce NX8 2.5-20 behind one.

I run it on my Element 2-16 and using the parallax adjustment I can push it through the whole magnification range.

@@HuntTheNight do you have any video you can send me showing what it looks like from 12x-16x?

Its really not possible to get a good image via the back of the scope, I've tried all sorts of different methods. @@Howlin23

Is parallax adjustable scope needed as its front mounted?
@HuntTheNight

Not needed but does help clear the image up a little.
