@lordoid Doesnt use the MPC except as a drum pad trigger. No sounds or sequencing comes from the MPC. The 60 is unique in how it affects the composers and the songs they make. He could have integrated it with his pro tools system giving him all the freedom he needs. Switching over to Pro Tools and ditching the MPC was a massive change. I dont think he knew how much it would affect his music. I made the same mistake he has. I Recently started buying hardware again though.
Shadow get back to using your MPC. I miss the organic heart and soul he had going when he used that machine. Since moving over to a DAW something big has been lost in the translation of his ideas (as well as the sound) to the audience. He now sounds like a host of other artists, nothing special at all. But at one time he sounded like no one else when he used the MPC.
he can't even focus his attention on an unbelievable dj. his eyes are twitching all over the place (i'm not even thinking he's on drugs, it's just the way people are now.) it's uncomfortable...but it is what it is, right?
my only complaint would be, who in Europe is doing festivals just doing their one greatest album tour? no one as far as I have seen... oh I also wonder how many versions of deluxe anniversary entroducings there will be ... probabaly worse than touring an album lol
