A whistle stop tour of just some of the Christmas Decorations, not quite finished but couldn't wait any longer ...... Hope you like them. xx Instagram: helenmaryjohello
Stunning stylish decorations Helen. So lovely to have the memories come out each year. When i put the decs away each year i write about the Christmas and a little of what’s gone on during the year and pack it away with the decorations. It’s easy to forget little things and it often makes me laugh and cry when i re-read them, sometimes years later. Treasure your family and the new memories you make. Hooray for TK Max and Costco. 😂
Good morning Helen, your home is beautifully decorated and there's nothing not to like. You're so talented and have great taste. I have a mish mash of ornaments on my tree from years gone by too with great memories. Your swag is gorgeous and the stags head so majestic on your table. Shame you never got to see Santa 🎅 but I'm sure your festive tea will go down a treat. Enjoy and have a lovely weekend. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🤶 🎄⛄️xx
It's all lovely. I particularly liked the hall table with the stags heads I used to do a lot , I do very little now , i cant . I bought some lovely red chrysanthemums and deep pink cyclamen .they give me terrible hay fever . ! I also hang large silver baubles at various lengths from a pole in front of the window. I saw them in a magazine, 10 years ago . I always used to look at magazines to get inspiration. i ove Kay
Love the decorations! Well I never, we lived in the Watford area too after we returned from New Zealand (youngest born in Watford Hosp). At the moment We only have 4 trees outside lit up. Hubby doing the giant figures & decorating the hedges later today. I have made a giant multicolour wreath from over 100 baubles that we decided to relegate last year. I put them on a coathanger wire shaped form & added bow /ribbons made with Costco ribbons! Added battery lights to it too!
Another fabulous video, Helen. Still to put my little tree up ( made of horseshoes so my cat can’t pull it down!).. I so loved your last video with your wonderful mum too. What a special lady and do hope she’ll be on again with you. Lost my mum at 92 but she hadn’t been functioning for the previous six years. Lots of love xx
Thank you Helen for showing us around your Christmas Home. My favourite was the Stag's Head on your Hall Table and the Christmas Tree with everyone's name on it, what a lovely idea!! Best wishes.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who trots out all the old decorations from years ago. Like you, everything tells me a story - where I bought it, who gave it to me, which were my children’s favourites, etc. I just love Christmas with the family.
As we entered into your hallway, I truly felt like I was popping round for a baileys and a mince pie with you and yours! So welcoming, personal, pretty and tasteful…..love it all! I’ve been in hospital for over 3weeks after fracturing my pelvis and having to have it put back together which meant revising the hip replacement I had in 2019! My poor husband is having to do everything more or less, under my careful supervision…boy it’s hard not being in control! 😂 Luckily I was organised gift wise and the rest will happen, and if it doesn’t, just all, being together feels like the most important thing to me after the past month! Thanks for sharing Helen x
Oh my goodness, I hope you're soon better. I think we've all had Christmases like that. I reassure myself in knowing that it will be around again in five minutes!! haha xx
Hi Helen I love that all your gorgeous decorations are created by you and personal. I’m not great in the imagination department but you have inspired me to not worry about that and just do it!!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful Christmas home decor, we have got very similar taste - and I have had some lovely, individual, timeless pieces from TKMaxx. In fact I have some bits and pieces that I bought from £land 20 years ago when they first opened in our little town, and people often don’t believe it when I tell them where they are from. Each year I carefully pack away every single decoration into storage boxes, and it’s a bit of a laborious task - but like you, I have decorations that have lasted a lifetime!! Look forward to seeing any more bits and pieces you add to your Christmas displays xx
Morning Helen, your home Christmas decorations are beautiful . Especially loved your fresh foliage around your fireplace and your Christmas tree and all the personal touches with your family in your mind. Thank you Helen. Get well wishes to you, so many horrible coughs and colds around this year xx
HiHelen l like your Christmas decorations our tree is full of family memories too and your nativity set is exactly the same as my late mother in law’s l think my brother in law has it now. Hope your coughing stops soon x
How beautiful! Your home is the epitome of family and joy for the holidays. I wouldn’t have expected anything less. The history and the memories are precious. I know it took years to collect, and the loving hand that placed each item is center of your ode to the holiday. Very impressive and how kind of you to share. It is a very warm and love filled home, and all who gather are truly Blessed. Take care Helen. You are a very special, kind, and loving human! ♥️🕊🙏♥️🎄🎄✨
Love you use your tree ornaments from years gone by.I am the same with our tree.Your mirrored shelves look so festive with your Christmas trinkets. Love it ⛄️.
Lovely decorations Helen and what an excellent idea of putting a mirror behind the tree to enhance the tree and its lights. I think I'm going to pinch that idea and put one behind our tree! Thanks for yet another enjoyable video. ❤
Lovely to see your house and all your fabulous decorations! You are very talented to do the arrangements yourself . I am 65 and you made me think how long I’ve had some of our decorations! Years like you! They always bring me joy when I get them out again! I’ve just added two new ceramic spheres to this year. They are lovely I may keep them out all year! I try to buy something new every year and enjoy looking for pieces. Have a good event on Sunday. Hugs xx
I admire how much trouble you go to! Christmas tree this weekend and memories in many trinkets including initials of our immediate family and like you arranged in age order, top to bottom!
Absolutely gorgeous Helen . Love the nativity crib you don't see them so much nowadays which is a pity. Your videos are getting better and better hope you have 12k subscribers by Christmas that would be amazing.
Hi Helen was a pleasure to see your mum she was a star modelling and made me thunk of love I always have n memories of my mum. Your home is beautifully decorated love you tree it's perfect, I'm popping in to tk max tomorrow for look lol. Iv moved since mum passed in to small flat but have nice pop up tree which I love, your front door swag is best iv seen well done , enjoy wkend with family, hope cough goes soon iv had two wks to, hells belles all love you n video are great content.
Looking very festive and I love all the personal touches and memories in most of your decor! The mantel foliage is spectacular Helen, very impressive. The nativity from Lidl is my favourite piece - gosh that was a good buy. If anyone is looking for a nativity this year, I picked one up from The Range for £16.99 - its kind of a wood resin but very substantial for the price ! x
Your home looks beautiful and very tasteful as I would expect from such a classy lady. Please see someone about your cough - it could be that you need medication for it as it is lingering somewhat. Take care. x
My chin just dropped and I moaned at the sheer loveliness of your entryway table arrangements!! My, oh my. What a glorious way to greet your guests. Your entire home is so warm and filled with memories new and old. Thank you for generously sharing your Christmas spirit with us. Xx😊
Absolutely love the decoration on your front door, looks amazing. My Mom always put 2 decorations (A snowman and a cardboard bell) that I made at school on her tree. When we lost her, I kept the decorations and every year they go on my tree. They are 55 years old and falling to bits, but they have to go on, so it is lovely to see your children/grandchildren's items on your tree.
Just lovely! I decorate my tree like you do, full of things my children made when they were little, baubles my mum gave me before she passed away and things I bought in different countries too. Simply a happy memories tree just like yours is🤗. Your door swag is stunning too! Have a wonderful advent Helen and thank you for sharing with us. Hope your cough gets better soon!
I do like your decorations. Just dreading the thought that you must put all back again into boxes and bags and what not when Christmas is over. But still - I wish I had the knack to decorate in that lovely way. My Christmas decorations are quite simple …
I love your hallway tree with the family names 💕. We’ve still got our Costco Christmas ornaments and they are almost 28 years old but look as good as new. Great quality. Your blinged up stag centrepiece is stunning. You have such good style and have a lovely welcoming home 😊
Hi Helen Your house looks lovely, well I didn’t know you was a big Elvis fan as am I and have been since the age of nine when I first layed eyes on him in the film King Creole. It must take you ages to trim up it takes me around three days and I don’t have as many items as you do, I am also planning a little show and tell Christmas video, that is once I’ve got all the boxes and bags tucked away and I love that it’s not just me who puts there children items that they made years ago I do that as well very sentimental even though they are all grown up , my eldest daughter said one year are you still putting those on the tree 😂 I will always put them on my tree, really enjoyed your video Helen have a lovely Christmas Tina Xx
Hi Helen, Love your decorations you have a beautiful home. I love stags and I'm like you couldn't bring myself to light my stag candle. I love popping into TkMax, my daughter rolls her eyes and then gives in cos she loves it just as much really x
Thanks for the fun tour, reminds me of a lot I do and have, - little things everywhere to enjoy the memories. Especially love your tree and swag on door - have my wreath out, hoping it will last with my moderate temps in the South - by Christmas it is usually getting on, brown starting , but I refuse to give up a real wreath. Sad disappointment about the breakfast, hope the tea is fun. I have had things like that through the years, if you are especially busy, you make the reservation and assume all set, but some snag happens and I know I have thought, why didn’t I check for confirmation -🤔. Enjoyed the tea!!
Hi Helen. 🎄Your Christmas Wonderland looks beautiful, so many memories in your Dec's! You will need another stocking when your next Grandchild comes into the world next year! Look after yourself Helen. Ta ta for now ..xx
Hi Helen. I just knew your decorations would look stunning and they do. I loved all of it, so nice to keep it a mix of family memories. Pride of place on our tree is an old cardboard egg box section/hole covered in glitter glue, my son made when aged 4 at play school, he’s in his 30’s now 😊. We don’t have grandchildren, maybe one day we can add some new masterpieces ☺️. Your front door swag is beautiful. Take care and thank you 🎄
Love everything Helen, swag stunning and christmas village fabulous idea, going to try create these myself. You have great taste, Rob indeed picked a beautiful tree. Hope your cough clears up once and for all soon. xo
I have had that crib for about 35 years, not sure where it came from but it predates Lidl’s arrival in Ireland! I had an angel candle for many years and never lighted it but someone in the family (naming no names) decided to light it one year, and I was really annoyed. Keep your stag candle safe!😃☘️
Oh Helen you have a stunning home !! With & without the decs ❤ The feathers on your gorgeous swag I have on my tree 🪶🪶 x I love Christmas and love all the faffing and tweaking xx Really enjoyed that thank you xxx
I lost my mom at the beginning of the pandemic. She was about to be 97. She was so smart and her memory was still perfect. She looked 50. I was with her the whole last week as she recovered from some sort of viral infection. The nurse talked me into finally going home to get some rest, and of course, that’s when I got the phone call that she had passed. holidays just haven’t been the same but this year I have a brand new grandchild, my first, so I have a bit of a burst of energy. It took all week, but my house is finally fully decorated with the tree all done.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Having a new grandchild is a great reminder that we live on in our children and grandchildren..... you have to make new memories for them. I hope you have a lovely Christmas xx
Love the decorations for the mantel piece, the tree village, and especially the family named Christmas branch tree!!! So many memories in each of your collection. 🎄
How lovely to see your decorations. Love the door swag but my favourite is the hall table with the stags. Love the Christmas tree it’s so nice to look at all the decorations and remember who gave them to you or made them. I have a few decorations that were brought when I was a baby and I am 65! Have a wonderful Christmas and thank you for all your videos. Xxx

Hi Helen, happy to be a Hel’s Belle! Similar age, originally from the UK, now living on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia. I’m feeling very nostalgic for an English Christmas this year (after a summer trip back to visit everyone in the summer), so really happy to watch all your Christmas videos and indulge myself in all things English Christmas! Thank you!

It's lovely at Christmas time to see a mixture of old and new decorations full of memories of Christmas past which is lovely to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. Your decorations show that beautifully.

Your home is beautiful. I used to have two large trees. This year only one is up.I need a new smaller one so it's not so much work. I like your small twig type tree. Its the putting up and taking down that kills me.
