Could be the General lee from dukes reunion movie . At the beginning of the moonshine race the back taillight section was orange. I believe john Schneider talks about this on his RU-vid channel I could be wrong but I believe they painted the car based off the 1/24 scale diecast model . Soon after they realized their mistake and either painted another car or redid that one . This could be that car

Hey Chunky, I was there back in '06. Not sure if it's the same Lee as before, if it is they freshened up the interior. The one I seen had the Barris Crest on it and it could possibly be the same car because the 01's were wrong and the rims were the 15 spoke. Yes your correct about Barris didn't design the General, warner had him build a few chargers for the show back when they were slim on chargers. Not sure what seasons that was. I dont have anything personal against George, I've met him and talked to him at length several times I never understood why he claims that he built just about every tv and movie car ever. Before I met him I didn't know what a lincoln future looked like, I just knew that was what the batmobile was based off of. When I met him I asked how he built the car. George claimed he built it from scratch. Then I seen what it looked like before. There were only 5 concept cars built. My uncle designed and installed the electrical system in each car. Up until the 90's he didn't even know that the car became the batmobile. I also know George designed a car seat for knight rider do it hides the stunt driver to make it appear kitt is driving alone. Again when I asked George he claimed he designed the entire car. I just never understood why he said that. That Kitt replica at that museum was in a spot you could see the interior when I was there and wow it was way off. That's probably why it's at where it is now.

It also has a black dash...it had slotted wheels on it until the repo vectors came out then they changed them

Most of the cars if not all the cars are not actual movie cars they are fan-made cars. Some of the real cars are in a car museum in volo Illinois . The Beverly Hillbillies car is actually in a college Museum that the public can visit called College of the Ozarks.

That might be the general Lee from The reunions when are racing double zero when it took off there was one that had the orange sail panel and when it backed up at the beginning and the end of the race

I hate to tell you this, but that General Lee is a barris custom, if you look on the fender you’ll see his mark with the shield

The interior of that "real" General has also been redone. I went to this museum way back in 2002 and the car had an all black interior at the time! I also remember the promotional brochure for the museum had a picture of that General with incorrectwheels on it and they were even mismatched! So this museum has slowly altered this car over the years while still claiming it's the "real deal".

Barris had nothing to do with Herbie either. He takes credit for everything it seems. I think some of the cars there are not original.
