We all hear things before we fall asleep. Its just a natural part of our brain going into sleep mode. But what if what we hear, are things telling us to do terrible things? Original story: www.creepypast...
i knew someone whose father had paranoid schizophrenia. he made a barricade from chairs and tables around the house and took the cleaver screaming that if the family kills him, they won't get any inheritance. the sad part is he was very poor. that's very horrible to deal with. may he rest in peace
@@RoanokeTales I'd normally be inclined to agree, but the voice accurately predicted the death of his wife, which is too much of a coincidence to attribute to schizophrenia. Go to church, guys.
@@thecraftycrayfish7539 Coincidences can be an absolute bitch. It's not impossible at all that his hallucinations were just coincidental, unlikely, but still not impossible.
@@thecraftycrayfish7539 Your mind notices more than you realize. You can notice something wrong with your car, a rotten ladder, an unstable scaffolding... etc. You don't actively notice this, but your instincts alert you to danger, but humans often ignore that instinct. We think it's just paranoia. But, then we have a dream about what could happen if we don't fix the issue, if the car breaks, the ladder collapses... etc
Another great story. Was wondering when the next one would come, but having all the others on your main was good with me. this video had tons of ads in it which broke it up (luckily in my case). You should take a break until Halloween night and then release one make it extra scary too. Keep up the great work and don't burn yourself out.
Loved listening to all of your Roanoke gaming science-based videos and the fact that you've now dived into scary stories and creepypastas is just next level. Thank you so much for the additional content!
You know the voice and power of the man upstairs completely outweighs the voice and power of anyone from downstairs. Just sayin🤷 but then there’d be no story
My favorite part of watching RU-vid is being bombarded with political adds even though im not even old enough to vote (Also good job with getting the channel monetized Roanoke)
@@RoanokeTales i really do enjoy them, im probably gonna binge when its later at night since I don't have anything to do tomorrow Also im really excited for Negative atmosphere. I'm hoping it will be a great successor to Dead space.
I really like your readings but there's just one thing... you should tone down the excitement in your voice some. The stories would sound so much better if you change up your tone here and there. I'm not trying to disrespect you in the slightest, just speaking my mind you know. Keep up the good work though!!!
@@RoanokeTales honestly, the fact that you don't use the typical "spooky" dark and melancholic voice to read these stories somehow makes them more unsettling.
