Also, he is the ONLY SINGER in HISTORY to have won filmfare awards in THREE DIFFERENT DECADES --- in 80s for QSQT, in 90s for Raja Hindustani / DDLJ / Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and in 2000s for Lagaan....this shows the longevity of the man. He didn't belong to an era.....he was a FORCE across eras. Most of 90s singers have lost their voice but Udit ji still has got it !! That's the greatness of this living legend.
