As a native New Yorker, every time I'm in Manhattan or any borough besides the bronx (I was born and raised there) I feel so at home and see all the hot people and just look around like okay so where have ya been my whole life. And the whole concept that new Yorkers are mean I feel like is based off people running into strangers that are running late for work or they have somewhere to be so they don't have time to be social. Other than that we can be the nicest people you've ever met, but some of us aren't going to be people pleasers and we're gonna be honest with you and if you don't like it....idk what to tell you. I also find it so interesting how a lot of influencers are thinking about moving to New York which I both love and kind of hate only because that means the natives will have a harder time finding places to live. But like move where you want and come to New York because then I'll get to see you lol. Glad you loved New York!

i feltttt you on that influencer comment, in ATL there's definitely a bubble of "influencers," whether it's people who are tiktok famous, people with jobs in acting or film, tattoo artists, DJs, or like... idk... fashion mfs.... but every so often i go to someone's party where literallyyyy everyone is taking pics and the social aspect has gone out the window !!! i wanna get lit and turnt and talk to friends, not take fit pics for an hour! like come on guys what happened to genuine connection! also makes me mad because i start to realize that a lot of these yt girls have lip fillers or these "niche micro celebrities" are just nepo kids..... sorry for the long comment i'm getting back into watching / making youtube vids since i'm on winter break and i love to yap
OMG also felt the public transit comment so hard too... the public transit in ATL is useful for getting to Georgia State or anywhere along the train lines, but if you go anywhere besides directly north, south, east, or west, you have to drive! and traffic keeps getting worse! idk how y'all do it in LA but i respect 🫡 i didn't even think about moving to new york, or chicago, until i considered the prospects of taking public transit and not having a car like that's my dream lyfe

1- I am loving your videos and your storytelling, A1 2- As a new. yorker living in LA, everything you said is so SPOT ON! La is super white, not welcoming, not community driven, and just a no. I will say clubbing can definitely be that in New York, but my suggestion would be find a lounge, lowkey bars. Im not a club girl but a good lounge is definitely key! I miss the great food and people watching that New York has, trust, I am thinking about semi moving back and no one would blame you, lol.
