It’s a really slow process . Honestly wish it was happening faster but thankfully it’s working . Just a lot of treadmill days and I’ve cut out soda, desserts and fried foods. Still eat a lot of bad stuff but I feel those changes have helped my progress
@@TheDailyWoo Yes great, cutting out sodas, sweets and white pasta/bread rice/butter/milk/cheese - eat beans, veggies avocados oatmeal, not all of the time but as much as you can and watch, I lost 50 lbs and my ldl went down/hdl went up! You look awesome, but then again either way , you're awesome!
Adam, just wanted to say thanks for the daily videos. My life has been very stressful and full of setbacks recently and your channel has long been a consistent source of comfort.
Hi, Adam! This is my first time ever leaving a comment. I want you to know, that your videos are my daily breakfast routine...i am taking myself a coffee and sit down and watch your newest video. Without that, the day is not starting well for me. Thank you so much and i am proud of your weight loss, go on like that (please excuse my english).Just love your videos and i remeber the two weeks of vacation in Orlando 2017, great memories. Greetings from Austria!
Thanks for sharing this. I left That area in 91 and dumb me moved to Illinois. I have relatives all over in Saint cloud and Kissimmee. My relatives used to own Bonnie Lees chicken . Best chicken around
Saw u a few times while u were playing with them. You certainly have lead a interesting life my friend. Thanks for bringing us along! I'm hoping in another few years ny wife and I can start our travels. Probably won't document it but definitely will be using your videos as planning board. Lol Take care
Thank you so much for another interesting video about historic, old Florida, the Florida before all the glitz and glam and theme parks. I visited St. Cloud once in the late 1960’s. We were a military family connecting with another, our dear friends the Millers. We visited Gatorland and the construction site for what would become the Magic Kingdom. Some of your street scenes look familiar. Thank you again, Adam, for giving me this trip down Memory Lane.
I grew up in St. Cloud in the 60's and just recently moved back. I remember well that ravine on Dakota Ave. There were a lot of dirt roads and open lots then. Across from Jammers is where the A&P grocery store stood. A lot has changed and a lot has stayed the same. I love it here.
Moved to St. Cloud from Kissimmee in 1993 and we are still here. Its obviously changed a lot in 31yrs, some of the change not for the better unfortunately, used to be a quiet little town where everyone knew everyone. I remember when you could smell the orange blossoms, not anymore, all the orange groves are gone, could also remember hearing the cows moo off in the distance, not anymore, the pastures are gone. Now it has a lot of traffic and other nonsense going on. We retired several years ago and will likely spend the rest of our days here. Our daughter was born here and went to St Cloud elementary school, middle school and graduated from St Cloud HS. She got her BS at Stetson University in Deland Florida and graduated Magna Cum Laude, she missed Summa Cum Laude by one point. Go Hatters! Yep Stetson University is named after the man who invented the Stetson hat, John B. Stetson. He and his wife donated a lot of money to the university. They had a winter home in Deland. Elizabeth Hall is named after his wife. Adam, if you haven't visited the city of Deland Florida that might be a good future destination for your vlog. The university was the first private university in Florida and started in 1883 (140 years ago) it has some buildings with amazing old architecture from back when it came into existence. The city downtown area is small everything is centered around the college.
@@traceytrotter9934It's funny you should say that because 3 weeks ago the wife, daughter and I were eating at the Catfish Place which has been here since the beginning of time and we saw an old next door neighbor we lived next to when we first moved here and they said the house we lived in was recently torned down and it was just an empty lot now. We lived in the oldest house on that street at the time, it was an old FL "cracker" house. I imagine someone will probably be building a new home on the lot at some point. A couple of my friends who were friends with our neighbors at that house unfortunately passed away several years ago..
Fun fact! My fifth grade teacher owned the Cannery on Virginia Ave. Our class would have field trips and projects there throughout the year. Us students were known as the Cannery kids 😊
There is a historical village in Allaire State Park in Farmingdale, NJ. It's is still a working village that has a General Store, working, Blacksmith shop, and a train station where you can ride the train. Also you can tour the houses on the property turned into museums and sometimes they hold weddings and events as well. If you ever get the chance to visit NJ again, you should go and visit Allaire Village.
I knew it was about time for you to take an adventure. I literally just told my husband yesterday you probably were getting a little stir crazy 😂 But gotta be honest we so enjoyed watching you stay at home for once 😊 thanks for all you do Adam, we will keep watching, no matter where you are!
Adam, love all the options you show us up in Central Florida, Peghorn Nature Park & Trail, now somewhere I want to go when I go up to the Central Florida area next time.
Went to that park,, a long time ago for the 4th of July, there was a Ceremony for the Veterans..and Fireworks! .we had just moved to Orlando, and were invited, by friends who lived in St. Cloud, they since moved to the Carolinas, for a Great Job Opportunity...but, miss those days....🌞🌞
I figured your aunt was your mom's sister when your aunt spoke she sounded like your mom talking sweet happy they are having a great time and sweet of you to bless your family all with this stay Adam
Always thought the location of your STC apartment was kinda weird. Very non-traditional being in a random building like that. Usually apartments are dozens of units grouped together.
I always wondered about what was going on down in Florida. I'm from Chicago Land. What I mean is back when I was growing up it felt like the center of the universe where I'm from. I always wondered what people my age were doing in different parts of the country. 😂
@@superduperwillsaxby”He needs to address this” would be an appropriate comment if Adam’s dad was a senator. In reality, he’s a private citizen who is not obligated to appear for you nor share details of his life.
I just went to WaWa today and got a matcha before I came back to SoCal and I also went by Publix to check it out. I did not make it to Celebration to see your hood next time 🌴👍🏻
Your brain eating algae story reminded me of a time I went kayaking at a large pond near where I live in Illinois. I had decided to take a break and sit at the waters edge. When I stood up I had leaches attached to me from my backside all the way down to my feet! Needless to say, I panicked. Luckily, there were a couple of gentlemen nearby that helped me out. I had to laugh because they kept explaining that they would have to touch me to get them off. I just kept screaming “I don’t care! Get them off!” 😆.. Good times.
Adam, brain eating amoeba are real and can be very deadly, also it is very very rare. The amoeba lives in freshwater, rivers and lakes. It is fatal in most cases, every few years in this area of Texas swimmers have ingested a brain eating amoeba. On that note, enjoy your trip and stay out of the water, unless its a pool. :)
The amoebas seem prety common, as I see news storys of them dying from it. Some people don't realize it, when its too late. Not everyone is swiming in warm stale waters, ttesting those darwin awards..
Have you ever looked into the CIRCUS stuff from first half of 1900s near Tampa? American Pickers have done episodes on collections and museums from all the circuses that stayed in Florida for the winter with all their animals, etc. I searched your old videos with no match to "circus".
have you ever played guitar on camera? as far as i can remember, i have never seen footage of you jammin out! would love to see you play some riffs Adam!!!
At 5:52, one of the old Pizza Huts. I think they made a huge mistake back in the day when they quit making their pizza dough from scratch. Their pizza back in the 1980's was delicious.
Now there's brain eating algae! I've heard of brain eating amoebas, but now algae. Nowhere is safe anymore. I watched some youtube videos of when you were with Guttermouth, what a great band!
Adam, when you goto WDW, goto the boat rentals near the Polynesian.. Ask the boat rental ppl if you can read one of their wavers required to sign to rent a boat.. There will be mention of the brain eating amoeba in the contract.. The story about River Country is truth as well as for any standing fresh water ponds, etc in Florida.. TRUTH.
Nice day despite the rain. Good video under the circumstances. I have a good feeling I know where Mr the Woo is headed and I'll just say that I hope the ushers are nicer and more reasonable this time about filming
i still find soo darn cool that you were in guttermouth! that band amongst anti-flag, the casualties, and others where on my playlist every time i went to ride the bmx bike! oh the memories of being young lol
Good morning from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In your travels throughout Florida, have you seen your old van? If you're able to find it, it would be a cool memory video. Digging that stashe.
Morning Adam hope the rain 🌧️ doesn't mess anything up as you go along your day. Thanks for sharing this with us. Thanks for this walk and talk video. Stay safe outside. 😎📸✌️
Just to add on, Adam..you’re looking good. Having watched your posts for years now, this is the slimmest I’ve seen you. Probably less fast food, more riding your bike. More taking care of yourself. Good to see.
That was a great road trip with your dad! I wonder if the stained glass window at his old church is broken out, or perhaps the board is actually protecting it from *being* broken. I hope that's the case.
Great vlog you would love where we found the other day we got to vlog an abandoned Zoo here in the Uk , then old days with the van really made the Woo 👍
Where the heck was that ramp park when I was growing up in Kissimmee in the 80's?? I would have spent all day there. Kids don't realize how good they have it.
Slowly . Veeeeeery slowly. Mostly been doing treadmill to start building up strength in my legs and lose weight . It’s also not a marathon it’s a half one . Biggest goal for me is to crossing finish line without being timed out . Pace has to be a 16 minute mile average for the entire race . This includes walking etc
