If I remember right, they didn't change how Corpulent Cadaver worked, they just capped the maximum he could go. I have a feeling they will do the same here. Most likely they will cap the amount of damage he can do on a single hit.

100 percent they will "FIX" but honestly if it does works o Hydra it is kind of broken mechanics. And by broken I mean it in a good way. But like always with Greedium if something is good for players it's bad for them 😂
Yeah, they just need to change the scoring system in hydra clash and clan league so that getting a massive score in CB or hydra isn't an unfair advantage. Like get over a limit and you get a certain number of points, so that it's not based on total damage but on ability to reach a particular milestone. This way people can have fun with seeing how high they can damage the boss but not put others at an unfair advantage.

Yup, an awful habit of "fixing" rares that behave suspiciously similar to legendary champions. Madman in particular I'm still annoyed about. Pulled him the same day they did the patch.
Honestly, Ironclad always was bit dodgy with his passove.... I jave seen few showcasing vids with him in Plat lol So yeah IMHO they will "FIX" him alright.
Firstly. Shoutout to Blazin for taking out his wallet in the name of science spending $300+ to get the rare champ for this test that may not have worked. Go sub him just for that act alone. Not only is it working as intended. Paylarium also said the reason why the Trunda team, Trunda + 2x Yumiko is hard to get. Acelin is also very, very hard to get. The unity champs are not in the regular summoning pool, unlike the aforementioned champs. There is only 2 means of getting him currently, 1 through prism shards the other through the occasional 10x only. On both accounts, W.a.I. and difficulty, they should leave this alone, or also "rebalance" Trunda because she too is W.a.I according to them but is so obviously broken in hydra. They should also "rebalance" Yumiko, because this champ being able to reset herself is also a broken mechanic that no other reset champ can do including mythical champs who are supposedly more powerful than even a void legendry. Why is that, and why should it be changed? Because it's stupid broken that's why, and money ofc! I don't have Acelin to make it clear I'm not wanting this to be kept for my own benefit, mostly Whales and Krakens currently have him and they need no extra hand ups for sure. I simply want consistency and fairness.

That's why you always fuse. Plarium is fucking stupid so there's a chance that the skills description they provide isn't everything. NOBODY would be calling Wixwell trash if we knew at first that his shield increase was exponential.
@@zahanavez3776 you actually do have something to lose. With how frequent fusions are, you might just miss a good fusion. What would've happened if Wixwell's wasn't exponential? And was instead very weak, you wasted resources. Then what happens if Plarium drops a good fusion next? Boom, can't go for it. Stop trying to sound smart when you are not.

Not even kind of close to the same, admonitor gets a shield for the amount of damage his a1 does, corpulent's a1 does more damage based on The amount of shield he has. These are completely different abilities
It won't work Admonitor gains a shield from the damage he do, corpse deal extra damage based on the shield he has thats why corpse could hit for millions be for the nerf.

wow...Those are some big stats! Question about Hydra Clan Boss....if you manage to chop off one of the heads, is it better to keep attacking the decapitated head or move on to another head? Maybe we should have an updated Hydra video on the mechanics. :) Thanks Ash!
So, funny thought about a potential team with this. For those that have him, what about Androc and Valerie over Aniri/Krisk/Mikage? You'd get 3 faction bonus for Acelin, so that his A3 applies a shield that won't be removed (open with and never use again), and both Androc and Valerie have a buff extender on a 3 turn cd. Only real issues I can think of is Androc passive that gives him turn meter on crits, and his A2, which is also his buff extender, applies a heal that could potentially eat Ironclad's passive cd. Which both of these would require some tuning. The idea is pretty much just if seeing one funny number is fun, what if you see more than one funny number?
I see no reason to nerf this, because the shield setup alone without the nuke is a guaranteed 1 key. This team is OP even with that slot left empty. That being said if they did nerf it, just add a damage cap to Ironclad's passive like 5m or something.
"Working as intended" vs unintentional outcomes. Wixwell interactions with other champs resulting in insane clan boss and hydra scores was unlikely to be intentional by Plarium. But when they keep pumping out so many champs with so many different skills you are going to end up with more and more unusual interactions. And with a lot of very clever people playing the game those unusual interactions will result in these kind of outcomes more and more frequently. Makes you wonder about the sustainability of the game.
infinite growing shields has been the core issue for most of these they nerfed emic into the ground so i thought they learned there lesson but then they add wixwell who's better then brogni and everyone can get
Is it just me or is Wixwells shield growth not only calculated based on the total number of different buffs on each champ but also on the total turn/stack count of each buff? I noticed that my (much) slower champs get a MUCH bigger shield pretty fast then my faster champs because the slower champs rapidly gain buff duration stacks while the fast ones only grow slowly and/or stay at around 3-4 turns per buff.
As long as it doesn't effect something "competitive" like Hydra Clash, I think it shouldn't be touched. Once it gets to that point though ... it's a lot more annoying because you just don't have a chance to compete with anything else than these type of teams. Hey Ash, your content is the best (always entertaining). With this team, put DESTROY on IRONCLAD, and when healed the Destroy Max HP still works - which should make the killing even shorter on time. Thanks for providing great content and giving to so many great charities. Just thought that WUJI could do great with CRUELTY and DESTROY when hit under SHINOBI ARTS. PS-This game lives in my head. I'm pretty sure everyone else would say the same.
@ASH-RAID The fix should be applied to Hydra itself, otherwise these teams will keep popping up. You can nerf half the champs in the game just because of Hydea clash. That is the thing needing fixing, especially the scoring system. The easiest way is to hace a soft cap on points, in other words once you pass a certain threshold of damage, the number of points you receive decreases exponentially as damage increases beyond that. That way people can do billions of damage, but they wont get much more in the way of points than someone who does the cap.
I think it's working as intended for sure. My only thing when people talk about balancing the game, I think that is more for the PVP (Hydra Clash) specifically aspect. With compositions like this, it makes competing against these people almost impossible. And while I understand that the composition takes certain setups and champions, and you could argue that it's already diffcult to compete against people able to have those champions to begin with, I would also see it as completely fair if Plarium came in and capped the damage instead of making the "nerfed" champion almost useless otherwise. So, for this I would say they could cap the damage of Ironclad but only think it's fair if the cap they use still allows people to One key the content. Because if that just happens to be the method you discovered to finally one key certain content, I don't agree if they took that away.
Yooooooooo, Ash I was just playing with this dude and thinking I know he can do some damage with his passive it's just I'm a newb and still overwhelmed with everything and boom you show this (credit to the creator's you mentioned). I love the synergy!!! I had to stop the video I got so hype when you showed him as the third component!!! I use him in my campaign team, for the stages I can beat he is always alive at the end
The CB team is quite unecessary, because outside of records, over 70 mil damage doesn't bring anything to the table. On hydra on the other side, it will break even more the hydra clash. They will nerf ironclad and also put a cap on Acelyn's healing. It`s not a bug, it`s working as intended. So did Corpulent Cadaver.
It's not a bug. The ability is working as intended. Then they introduced more champs that broke the ability. It'll be "rebalanced". Cadaver worked as intended until a rare topped hydra clash
This is the same as Emic, one champion was nerfed in test server, wixwell instead was released as designed with a huge shiled grow, enabling all this big damage based on shield mechanic. Think the damage old corpulent cadaver could do with this shield grow!
2 years playing and I still do not have Godseeker or inquisitor, but I have 2 void legenaries from that faction. A real shame 🫠. Amazing video as always Ash.

i am trying 2 demythas, lots of buffs for wix to work with, with acelin, wixwell and ironclad. I was using ironclad with marichka when i first picked him up. im bout to clicky the button on UNM will let ya know what happens
Not a bug and the mechanics are working as intended but I doubt that is the intended result so I assume damage will be capped. Possibly could be considered an exploit but certainly not a bug. They should cap it still at a ridiculously high number in m opinion because of all that is required.
not the point of the video but to answer your question Thea was the 1st hex champion but I can't remember if she was obtainable before Ruel since we couldn't obtain her until the 3rd doom tower rotation. i believe if you did every secret room she beat the Ruel fusion.
I say working as intended but they just didn’t see this coming. The moment you mentioned the heal from shield crush I immediately realized what rare was coming and how this was going to work. I don’t see a nerf coming just because it’s so hard to get that banner lord.
Ash I need some serious help in understanding something. I left raid for about 5 months came back worth a new account. Cursed city was introduced while I was gone. I don't understand the requirements for some stages. I select units that are available but still can't run it. Can you either do a guide on how these work or point me in the right direction?

Acelin did 10B points of healing, over 2B per ally.
It is working as intended but I don't think they meant to create this monster. Therefore I think this will eventually get nerfed. When there are so many champions with unique abilities, it is hard to keep track of how each combination. Enjoy it while you have it.
@ASH-RAID how are you keeping the shield growth on krisk? every comp ive tried with krisk, godseeker, wixwell turn 20-25 krisk cant keep a shield and wixwell looses his too. yet god seeker and anyone else maintains a massive shield
@gusionplays2990 I had wixwell around 245 no reflex set, godseeker 265, krisk was 225 I believe .now I have wixwell in reflex at 210 which is super slow and krisk I think is close to 200. Doesn't seem to matter what speeds I have. Either krisk takes too much damage or something off his ally protect or he doesn't get the shield buff increase
Corpulent worked exactly as intended and it was still nerfed, so garunteed next patch this is "fixed" to have a cap as well if I was a betting man I'd bet it'll cap to the same degree corpulent did.
It's absolutely working as intended, corpulent cadaver was actually also working as intended Plarium only used that excuse to cover their poor planning.
When you create a lot of champions, then add new champions with new skill sets and new ways to influence the game, it's going to be hard to control how people utilize the champions. You will forget ways old champions were crafted. You will not understand how those skills interact with the new ones. Now, add in a dedicated player base that meticulously studies champ skill sets for an edge in the game. And note, this also includes artifacts that bring new improvements to champions. I think they should just let this slide, but thats not to say they will. In the future, when designing new champs, all skills should have a hard cap. And if not--they should just live with the results.
Why not also add in brogni for more zaniness? If the 3 champions, aka your Legos, your void epic, and your rare, you are putting a lot of eggs in your combo. Working as intrnded

Not a bug, but Plarium clearly doesn't understand the exponential scaling capacity of multiplicative growth. Wixwell is gonna get hit hard or shield capped.
@ASH-RAID I think Plarium should bring back Corpulent, Madman, and any other OP hydra team they have nerfed. This will be a constant battle for them to nerf every new broken team that someone comes up with. With so many champions, so many skills, and new ones coming out constantly, someone will always figure out a new OP strategy. Just allow them all and it gives everyone a chance to build whatever op team they can!

He's probably going to be dam capped. Everything is working as intended, it's just they probably didn't anticipate 9 digits worth of healing when Ironclad came out. No reason to nerf anything, it's all going like it should, just with some unintended results.
A: Wixwells shield is scaling far to high, but we voted for it and at this point people spent for it. B: Acelin is rare AF and until now was limited to special summon events. (be a bummer to pull acelin in this event knowing that this wont work anymore). C. The rare is working perfectly as intended but, prior to this shields were not growing that high, and a champ like Acelin didn't exist. Acelins skill has a 1000% cap so I would assume the rare is going to get a dmg cap. TLDR, THE RARE IS GETTING NERFED. How much is hard to say. Wixwell is also probably going to see some kind of small nerf as he is going to devalue alot of future survive style champs.

One of the best things in raid is finding this combos and synergies. Everything is working as intended its great dont nerf. If you want things more challenging realese a the clan Boss and make ultra Nightmare hydra and dont allow in dupes and put block revive in one of the heads
they won't nerf it, they'll just make ironclad unrollable for the foreseeable future, until people have forgotten about this video, then they'll silent nerf. And because it's such a niche build, only about 100 people will be pissed off.

I can't figure out if this dude is a hacker a rich mofo or just had wayyy too much time on his hands. And the more these things are broadcast on channels the more likely they will be nerfed
The only broken ability in this team is the shield grow by Wixwell, which leads to excessive behavior of more champions skills based on shield size. Thus the "correct" solution is to change Wixwell behavior, but Plarium do not want to nerf the legendaries, thus need to nerf others, which will never end due keeping the broken abilities in the game.
No one has mentioned the 1 turn cooldown on Ironclads passive they just show the big hit. Either all the CC's are getting lucky when they decide to do the smack or not telling us the full setup. Love your Vids though Ash and this comment was not a shot at you as you're not the only one who hasn't mentioned it. I've been experimenting with this team both on CB and Hydra and noticed the cooldown after a run. Was using Demytha and also have used Aniri both times the passive didn't proc so the damage didn't happen.
@ASH-RAID try the same strategy but then use Acelin skill where the damage is based on the sum of all shied. if my theory is correct, that would be the biggest hit ever xD
ive bin playing raid off and on for around a year too 2 years i lost my first account so i had to start over. now i find myself towards the end of the early maybe coming into the mid game i went for but missed the fusion due to some seriously poor luck in the events. now all i see are vids about how everyone is using the new champ to land multi million hp hits. for all those players that are doing cheeses like this plarium has stated before they don't want to nerf the champions. meaning the answer they have to fix and account for situations like this is to change the rooms/bosses/events that these hits are being done in. that will in turn make it harder for players to progress through the early to mid game which for a FTP like myself is already a multi year grind the journey is fun but almost not worth as is. next time yall want to create another team to do 1.7 billion damage or more on demon lord clan boss turn 130 remember you may be killing the game we all love in doing soo ive seen this chain of events play out before im certain if stuff like this keeps happening it will happen again
impresive but it doesn't really matter against clan boss. how it works against hydra will determine its chances of being nerfed. I'm feeling worse by the day for skipping this fusion. I need a break from fusions but he's too dam good >.
It’s not a bug, ironclad is working as intended, but wixwells shield growth is absurdly broken. Way too much shielding. No one champ should be able to automatically make a team survive until the the turn limit

I worked so hard to get wix, and now i dont even want to invest in him because i know the nerf bat is coming. What a waste of resources. This is literally working as intended, but as a mostly ftp outside gems and raid card, its really frustrating to see a lot of resources go down the drain into a champion that will inevitably be capped or nerfed.
Not a bug. It is working as intended...but not as foreseen. That is the issue. They did not foresee what is taking place. Makes you wonder how much play-testing they do before they release champions. Also makes you wonder how sometimes the most fun their players have is when they mess up. They seem to spend more time trying to manipulate us into spending and not into making the game fun.
That was not a three man combo, it was a full team. Would like to see with just a team of three without using Legos. I don't think everyone has wixel or the other lego. What can he do with an all rare team?
Ironclad will be getting the cadaver treatment now since he's also a rare. I mean, 1.8 billion damage from a rare... **Jedi mind trick** nothing to see here Plarium
There not going to fix it at the moment. There going to let the whaler, whale and go after Acelin then in a month they will change the rare. Its working as it should but yet again Plarium doesnt think about what combos that can be made when adding a new champ.
Ironclad is one of the fun meme champs that I've wanted to build but never really got around to... and my concern is that the passive that made him fun is now going to get nerfed because of this.
why would they nerf it ? i mean until they make this work in hydra there is no reason to nerf it... it`s not really something that can be abused and if it can be abused it doesn`t affect anyone that you do 2b damage.
