appreciate ur videos, but probably should stop telling people to open their shards during 2x most players should SAVE THEM FOR FRAGMENT EVENTS, champion chase and summon rush because an extra 0.5% chance to get a legendary that nobody cares about vs 100% chance to get a game changing Fragment legendary it's just bad advice it's not just u, it's the whole rsl community newer people follow this advice and get shafted, like i did halfway through gnishak/georgid/pythion just to realize it's absolutely impossible to obtain them because i spent my shards a week or two earlier on a stupid 2x that gave me shite
@@adampletcher1153 I think i legit farmed for a month to get enough copies of her to book her out. Did not think it would take that long, but once i started and it was orders of magnitude more rare and energy than i expected it was an affront to my will and focus so i refused to spend energy on anything else till she was booked out of spite but ya, should be easier to farm
As a new player to the game, i've been going through all of your old videos and guides and I'm always happy to see new updated versions of the old stuff in my subscription feed. It's been a huge help and I've avoided a lot of new player mistakes by watching your content!
I was literally just looking through your older videos for beginner priorities. This, this is exactly what I need. Been playing for about 4 months and I still need a lot of help. Something else I'd personally enjoy is a few begin game priorities/ importance of things like great Hall, masteries, gear, areas to focus on etc. Baby steps of you will... Appreciate you!
One question a clanmate asked me and I couldn't answer, and I haven't seen in any of the videos of CCs - is Hard 12-3 better than say Brutal 5-3 or 7-3 or whatever? You get a lot more XP on the earlier Brutal... And I adore Ash, he was the first CC I found/watched, and I love how conscientious he is about social issues like self-care and mental health. Single target res order is a little different to how you stated it at index 7:30 , it will always res by champ rarity first, then turn slot if dead allies are all the same rarity. overall though, very useful vid for most players!

After last night I thought they had changed X2 events so that you got 2x leggo's with every 2 shards. Had some crazy luck on voids, pulled some sacreds to push toward the 2 leggo tomes in a tourney, now got 4 leggos to build, one of which is Geogridgrinder woteva his name is, doing sick damage by lvl 42 of 5 star. Nice when RNG works how you wish it did, nice vid as always, Ash my man.

you forgot the number one important tip. Click your portrait, then options, scroll down to miscellaneous and click the box named "disable camera shake in battle"
Tons of great info in a nice, tidy package! One thing I'd mention about Ice Golem is how impressively Dark Elhain performs there. She's been one of the most transformative champs for my account, besides Leggos.

I like allot of these pieces of advice. They'll help. I can't get past stage 10 of allot of dungeons. I also don't last long in factions wars. I'll apply that crit.rate. crit. Damage & Speed and accuracy tips. I got Ronda and Khatun, War Maiden and Apothecary already, and almost all of the Dark elves, high elves and dwarves. Dwarves are super helpful like Geomancer and Bulwark and FodBor. But I invest allot in Valerie of all players. She just proves to be my best next to Ronda. But I do have the legendary: Brakus the Werewolf and he's another dominate fighter that really gets me through allot. There's many epics and legendaries that I have yet to unlock, but, aside from Sylvans, I have all the commons, uncommons and rares already. I invested allot in Dhampir and Mistress, and I also want to invest in Alabaster when I get her too. But I have dozens of rares that are highly useful.
I was falling asleep, but I finished a monster and it finally kicked in, now I can't sleep so I shall watch this. Things ash for giving me stuff to lay in bed and watch
30:25 Tip #35 min I think is the best tip! Everyone should be setting 1 man defenses! Losses are capped each at 12 I think so you can only lose so many fights. Let's set easy defenses and help each other out!
One tip I would add for beginners: DO NOT USE LEGO OR EPIC BOOKS ON LOWER RARITY CHAMPIONS. For example, do NOT use lego books on epic champions. Do NOT use epic books on rare champions! When I first started playing the game I had absolutely NO idea how difficult it is to get epic and lego books, and wasted a bunch of them on low rarity champs, you NEVER want to do that. Also, be VERY choosy about which epic or lego champs you use your books on, and only upgrade their skills to the point where you get the essential skill boosts, don't fully book them out if you don't need to.
Started playing this 2 weeks ago after I deleted an old account a few years back. Good info here. One major problem I'm currently having is actual gearing or know how to gear. I look at the recommendations tab and farm by what is suggested. Not sure if I should try for other stuff and YES I do know about set pieces at least the early stuff. I'm lvl 34 and can forge, but not sure what to forge. Didn't know about Kael in time when I started, so I went with Elhain.
Been playing for a while with occasional breaks. Still enjoy and get useful info from these videos. Ash and Hell Hades are the only two I'm subscribed to.

just want to clarify something that you said in this video...when talking about damage mitigation, you stated that the most famous one for this is Lydia....you did click on Duchess Lilitu who IS the most famous for damage mitigation lol but you said Lydia. you have a large amount of viewers that watch you are newer to the game, as when i was new i watched you first and i just wanted to clear that up lol.

Thank you for your videos! I completely agree with you, I had the same reaction when I got it as my 4th legendary thinking it can only be useful for Faction wars, and then I gave him a try and love it. I only wish he had a longer heal reduction spell as Ultimate DeathKnights crowded arena
Hey Ash, I love everything you do young man, thanks. I had a problem in the arena against the likes of UDK, Duchess Lilitu and Madame Serris. I searched my faults and found a Void champion that is very helpful so far, I haven't built her out completely, still lacking some proper gear. I noticed that all of the content creators dismiss this champion like you do with Harrier. I think you should check her out, her passive skill is taking out major legendary champions. I might be wrong, but check out Eviscerator.
Glad Ash mentioned resistance in his great hall list. Chosen sounds so out of touch saying in 2023 to do resistance last. Not that you should leave any of your great hall areas at 0, but resistance is one of the harder things to get in the game (res gear stinks from dungeon, most people can't farm bommal hard for 2 piece set. 4 piece set even worse). A friend of mine talks about the great hall this way "You just notice everything in the game becomes easier over time". Being able to do the endgame content definitely calls for resistance, so once you understand how doom tower works, expect what champs you will need for hydra, for doom tower, and don't put off resistance for last or it could extend your progression by a lot as medals are hard to find. I hated resistance and avoided any gear with it and got mad when it appeared on stuff I looted since it just wasn't required for the basic dungeons until I started solo farming, but doom tower hard and hydra (and even faction wars 21) having resistance really makes everything much easier and less RNG.
Stoicism, rational emotive therapy, and cbt are what allowed me to fix my mental health. I no longer consider myself depressed or anxious. Once upon a time I was diagnosed with treatment resistant depression and anxiety. It does get better, with work.
Galek doesn't get a fair shake man. His speed increase on himself helps out way more on bosses early on. Decrease defense big version is amazing on bosses also etc etc. I believe his AoE is the hardest hitting aswell (correct me if I'm wrong I've not looked it up but i own all the starters)
it's very important to be aware of the fact that it'd be better to save your shards, especially if you don't have dozens of them, for an extra legendary event. basically it depens on whether you're going for new/more legendary champions or going for epic champions instead. about four days ago you actually talked with ChoseN about that. when going for legendary champions wait for an extra legendary event, but when you're going for epic champions wait for a 2x event. mainly depending on how many shards you have and if you're a whale/kraken who buys pack after pack either way
what do you think of a champion with a passive that says "this champion doesn't earn xp from battles when fully leveled" for a specialized campaign farmer? would it be too op for them to release it? lol

That's 6 players since you put out your "Community Outrage" video. Hi I've been playing this game for the last 3 months and I only have one. I love this game I put a lot of time and dedication into why are there boost to get legendary characters but I don't ever get any legendary characters it's always rare
I'm thinking of getting rid of most of my gear in my vault. Most of my gear that is 3* or less has mediocre to terrible stats except for the Leggo gear which seems to have decent stats on 1* and 2* gear and that seems to be across the board regardless of which set I look at. Everything I have that's 1* or 2* has flat stats with maybe one stat that is % and that's practically universal.
Great content, as usual. Disagree on one tip, though. Honestly, Muckstalker is not used much in late/end game comps in Sand Devil (since CCs found better non-freeze comps). And in early game players should not really do Sand Devil anyways imo. I personally would not advise anyone to put in valuable early game resources into Muckstalker. (I know the daily quest is a dumb move by Plarium, still I'd not invest into Muckstalker if I were early game again)
Kael is the best starter, HOWEVER as soon as you get another poisoner he becomes way less useful. That's assuming players have Ronda from logins for the Arena/Fireknight. Athel gives something different and is very useful for Faction Wars/Secret rooms. Elhain also Secret Room. But 6 starring Kael isn't as automatic as it used to be, depending on if you get Frozen Banshee in the first 2 weeks or not.
I only use gems and token refills in the arena to refresh the list during arena tournaments. its a great way to get good loot, I think the most I've ever spent is about 200-230 gems. Its also enough to keep me around Gold 4 or 5 which also gets me some good loot
Tip 51: Save your Gems until you reach 900.. Use them in the gem shop to buy The 11 Ancient shards and a few other stuffs especially if you are a free to play player
Is there a different between farming speed set in Palace of Aravia/dragon? Is it recommended to farming of 12-3 for shields on brutal/nightmare? I fear setting masteries as I don't want to make an error; is there a way to reset masteries? I have mostly 1* 2* is there a list of what champs are best for feed vs keepers?
Though I agree accuracy is the most important great hall stat I absolutely disagree you do it first as you have to get 1 in each none void attack % for the early Arbiter missions, not doing so will hold you back for a while, I'd do 1 in each none void attack % then go for accuracy.

I'm gutted because I didn't really take it too seriously through my first 100 or so days. Now I'm stuck farming the great hall for arbiter because I spread my points. I wish I could reset the great hall.
I'm always wondering about when faction guardians are worth stocking. Especially on the rares. No one ever says anything about them until end-game accounts, but at some point or another it has to be worth forgoing turning stuff into food beyond those you want dupes of.
Yeah. My faction guardians are full of the fusible champs. When all the rare slots are full, I just start fusing them into the epics to fill up those slots too.
LOL 42 and 43 completely contradict each other. And I made another comment about a) making a shieldguard as a mino farmer and b) using campaign farmers anyway. You are investing a ton of resources for 6* a champ if you are a low spend or f2p person, and I've seen so many accounts who have a fellhound or bellower as their 5th or 6th champ. I almost fell for the shieldguard mino farmer but in hindsight changed my mind. 1 6* takes a lot of resources, plus masteries for him, potions, etc.. gear is needed that could go to another champ. It's just a timesaver for people wanting to farm mino faster with an uncommon. Same as a campaign farmer. You can argue you can win tournaments and get legendaries but most people winning those tourneys are doing it with XP brews. I have 100 6* now, have FW beaten, brutal hydra, almost gold tag, and everyone knows patience is king in this game. 42 you are making a mastered uncommon, using well over 800 gems to 6* him and master him, then caring that scrolls only go to one champ. I know Ash doesn't use RSL Helper, but it shows you which champs have which scrolls as you enter minotaur, and hellhades tool shows you who has spent their masteries. Between this you likely can spend the time building a champ in hell hades optimizer, put in the masteries they will use, the gear they will use, and let RSL helper run overnight (also using the 130 energy you gain while you sleep) or let it run with gems and it will do your champs fully with no waste. It's so easy to use an 'almost' mino farmer and 3 champs built and take them from 1-60 or 1-50 and get the masteries you need. Having the solo mino farmer and then acting like you care about saving 150 gems is just kind of a coping mechanism imo
I think there's no advantage to running only 2 champions in minotaur unless it's faster? The scrolls are not like xp; they won't be allotted to champions who are already maxed out and all the scroll drops in a run go to a single champion who isn't maxed out. So it's probably better to do 4 built champions and 1 that you need scrolls on or 1 built and 4 that you need scrolls on if you're going to afk for a really long time
