Reminds me of the show "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" -- I couldn't watch it because, as someone with an architecture degree who has experienced truly spectacular architecture firsthand, I thought the program showcased ignorant people with too much money but no sense of historic authenticity and a comprehensive aesthetic. This is like recreating an Italian palazzo or Versailles with faux surfaces on cheap plaster and plastic. This shtick is all surface to impress those who don't know any better.
