A Ravens Fan Reaction to the 2023-2024 NFL Season 

Me as a Seahawks fan: First time?

Worst part as a Ravens fan is that both seasons where Lamar won MVP and they had #1 seed, they were 1st in the NFL in rushing. Yet in 2020 playoffs Lamar had 59 pass attempts vs Titans, this year vs Chiefs he had 37 pass attempts, both were the most attempts of the season by far. And Ravens were never down by more than 10 pts vs KC and were only down 14-6 at halftime vs the Titans so there really was no reason to completely abandon the run, the coaches just seem to panic.

@@MaXiMoS54 But the Chiefs ended up with 17 pts and were never up more than 10. Chiefs pass def is elite, their run def is average and Ravens RBs only had 6 carries. And it's not even like they were being shut down, RB1 Gus Edwards had 3 carries for 20 yds that's 6.6 ypc. It made no sense to me watching live.

It felt like this was their best shot at the Super Bowl. Why they abandoned the run game when they knew the Chiefs had a bad run defense, I have no idea.

This is exactly why the Seahawks hired him. Hell, maybe he will be able to slow down the offensive masterminds in our division, namely Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan.

Lions fan here, felt the same thing after our loss to them. Also, we are finally beating you guys in week 4.

Try to keep in mind Ravens also had their DB coach go become a DC for Tennessee, their DLine coach is the new Miami DC, and they have a pass rush specialist as their OLB coach. Add that to the fact that they made their ILB coach the new DC and you can see MacDonald was assisted by one of the best positional staffs in the NFL.

Facts I love the Ravens to death but they do take years off my life

I remember the 9ers and Dolphins games…. and then Week 18 Steelers gave us an L I literally aged 2 decades after that game😭😭

​@@mahatmasloth6543 so true. It's not about how you do it. It's about wins and losses. The Ravens were in the top 5 in rushing yards all time, twice in four years including setting the record in 2019. The Ravens have had one of the best records the last five seasons.

No it’s a reference to how last year the Ravens went 5-0 against NFC teams and maybe a reference to Lamar being 20-3 against NFC teams
