I watched Wrexham on Saturday and started with 5 at the back at home. They started really strong scored and eased off. They do not play with a high press they fill their half with bodies and when they win it they go long. I think they look very good on the counter.

Watching the last few Wrexham game they're definitely a team that take their chances. I do think we'll absolutely have most of the possession. The subs will be key around the 65th minute for Blues. I do agree also I think we'll do better against teams that want to play against us. Hopefully Wrexham will try to play out against us a little giving Alfie and Jay some gaps behind. With the squad we have we shouldn't fear anyone. Wrexham are playing with confidence and are gelled where we're not there yet. Hopefully a 2-1 to Blues. KRO

Hi Gents. Another great video. I really like the mixture of positivity, optimism, pragmatism, respect and some good humour thrown in for good measure. No game will be easy and we're definitely the team to beat and the team that everyone wants to beat. So that makes our season a really difficult one, but also a really exciting one. I just wondered how long you think it will take for the team to gel? I think the Wrexham game is particularly a mouthwatering prospect given their excellent start to the season and how they set up and the number of goals scored and conceded. They've had 2 games (1 league and one cup) during the international break, so that's more game time for their squad. I think Monday night will be electric and i think this game is the most important one as it's the cliché next game, but more than that, to draw level on points with a game in hand psychologically is really important as opposed to being 6 points behind. I think we have to win as many home games as possible, so 3 points would give us massive confidence for the 4 games that follow. KRO 💙

Wrexham have momentum and will be a good test of where we are. I see 7 points from these 5 games, will be delighted with 11.

Hi lads, great video once again! Just wanted to say that I also feel we are going to drop points over this run of games, if we can pick up 10 I’d be delighted! I do think they’re important games if only to instil some belief in this team that we can beat anybody, yet I don’t think they’re season defining. We will get stick if we lose but I don’t care about stick - what others have to say about us has no bearing on anything imo. That said - I think we are going to lose against Wrexham. While I do believe we have the ability to comfortably beat them I feel this game has came at the perfect time for Wrexham. We are still waiting to gel properly, we are leaky at the back and not clinical enough going forward. Coupled with that they are pretty ruthless in the final third and solid in defence. I think we will score one but I feel we’ll be found out at the rear and if BPF is between the sticks I’d be more convinced we will lose after another error for Northern Ireland. This isn’t me slating the team though because I only think this due to when we play them in the season, that we still are ironing out this team and not out of second gear as it stands. Not because Wrexham are better than our team. However, if we go out and beat them 2-0 after a 2 week break with our first league clean sheet I’d also not be massively surprised. The others - I think Rotherham will be difficult, something of a banana peel maybe? Huddersfield we may well drop points but I think Charlton and Peterborough we will be comfortable enough to win. Let’s have it lads!

A draw would be a great result for us ( wrexham) punching above our weight at the moment and it should be a great atmosphere on the night

To be where we want to be it would be good to get 10 points from the next 5 games. Some of the teams towards the top of the table won't be there soon and of course Xmas/New Year is always a tough time with the number of games, injuries, suspensions etc. We can get through that and of course more signings may arrive in that window. Another Wrexham fan gatecrashing your excellent podcast. Very good format and discussion. It's great to be playing Birmingham City again after, I don't know how long. I do fancy our chances for the reasons you give and because Wrexham goals come from any one of a number of players out of the blue - you have to mark everybody. I'm not predicting a Wrexham win, just saying it's very possible, but so is any outcome which is why it's wonderfully unpredictable. Whatever happens, I think a great season awaits both teams. I gotta say I'm shocked to how good the other teams have played against us ,yes they are upping their game the old cup final, but that's what happens when you're a quality side and massive like us ....I love the squad we have and I love the way we play now it's better than I've ever seen I really mean that ..other than the prem days it's the best for 30 odd years easy ...I have no doubt we're gonna click and absolutely destroy teams

it's been a problem this season with letting in goals we need at least 2 strong minded powerful defenders

what i find funny is that huddersfield and rotherham were the easy games last season,now there the tough games,funny how your mentality changes now were in a lower division.

Great podcast been listening each week now. I think they are five great tests for us but I don't think this will define our season and I hope it doesn't cause disruption to the fans if we don't do well as expected. Our squad depth is our biggest asset to get us out of this division, if we are looking strong at Christmas and injury free then I think we can go on a run and finish strong. Marathon not a sprint!

All we have to do is to find consistency, that will come with a settled starting XI; some injuries are obviously going to happen which will inhibit us to a certain degree but a blessing in disguise when it comes to dropping someone to make way for Jay Stansfield. Spot on both- in theory we should be looking for 15 points, but reality dictates it will likely be less. I'm no expert on League One and the association of points per game. So, I'd go along with you guys and say around 10-12 points. We cannot assume we have a right to win any individual game. We are down here for a reason. Next Monday night is easily the EFL early season match of the year. Should be insane atmosphere. Blues 3 Wrexham 1. And Wrexham will still be on cloud nine tied atop the table regardless. Dream start for them. If Wrexham do get something out of this game they have to be considered a title contender all be it early in the season. Birmingham will go up this year
