A relaxed daily study schedule for CA students

I have repeatedly been saying in my videos as well as replies to the comments that it is unsustainable to study 12 hours per day and a lot of students crash at a point and throw away the books and ditch the efforts. They resort to coping mechanism of indulging in social media or playing video games.
In this video, I have come up with a solution for that. I am sharing with you, a sustainable, relaxed daily schedule which I myself, have been following over the last three years. This schedule has paid me great dividends and I have done a lot of meaningful work over the last three years.
Do watch this video fully, implement the schedule, and let me know in the comments what went right, and what needs changing.
P.S. of course, this schedule is more applicable for students writing CA Foundation June 24 and beyond, CA Inter September 24 and beyond and CA final Nov 24 and beyond. Students appearing in May 2024, even though this schedule might be effective, please exercise judgment.

this was actually what i wanted....some days i learn for about 9-10 hours but the very next day i feel so lazy to study...i thought that its because i'm lazy...but actually i was being burnt out. no doubt that your channel will grow fast....hoping that the quality of videos will be maintained throughout 🙂

This video not only for ca students also for the wider audience ❤ focus on that side too sir your chanel grow fast.🎉 as a CA student i can say one thing we students need to reach at highly resilient adaptability, and disciplined mental state .a trained mind to operate in high-stress and high-risk situations, where quick decision-making and precise execution can be easily make difference. Basically a highly alert mind of state, there is a quote by kobe braynt "if you see me in a fight with a bear pray for the bear" be that guy....... I can understand the difference when i m lazy less motivated i m in the state of Boring. To change that i need to take some psychologycal effort to put ourself up at higher alert state. Students are fail in that stage we get into some comfortable things like phone etc and wast time . so firstly reach at high alert, resilient, adaptable, disciplined state,in that state u can do anything the capability of our mind , we are all fail to reach there that is the main cause of failure, after reach that state we ourself find the perfect solution to eat and pass syllabus. This is my self find and figuring it out lets see😊

Thank you for the genuine interest, brother. Yes, that's one way of looking at it. Even though the information I give out in the video might be applied for other domains also, while writing the script I keep in my mind only CA students. Because I did only CA, so I can only know the CA-related problems. I don't even know the real problems of CMA and CS also even though they're similar courses. I can't give solution to somebody whose problem I don't know, right? So, my channel will be 100% focused on CA students only. Curious students from other domains will anyway find value from this channel. Already I have many NEET and Engineering students writing to me frequently. Still, this is a CA students' channel only :)

Thank you, brother! You're different cz you are teaching us after failing many times. Experience and learning that comes with that level of patience and constant efforts, is incomparable. Spending those years in solitude with no one by your side, develops a diff level of understanding of every aspect. Those who've always got a PASS in their result, can never learn what a person learns by looking at FAIL a lot of times. They are just rank holders.

this schedule really is a game changer. I never perceived my daily routine this way. for me sir I put so much pressure on myself that I have to put in 12 hours study everyday and honestly I make an unrealistic schedule which burns me out and I feel overwhelemed by my CA studies. Sir this is my biggest issue and mostly I end up not doing much and then I start regretting and go into gulit emotions. Now I will implement a plan somewhat like you shared and not burnout myself.

Hi sir , I'm a CMA intermediate student .no matter how much we prepare for exams we still go through so much stress, anxiety and offcourse we get really demotivated and underconfident . Sir, can you please make a video on courses and skills that can be pursued along with CA course(especially during 2yrs articleship period)? After many attempts, I cleared ca inter group 1 in Nov 2023 attempt and now i'm preparing for group 2 for may 2024 attempt. I wasted 2020-2023 years without any productivity,improvement and growth in my career bcoz of lots of distractions,being sensitive,over emotional and toxic friends.I feel so regret that i have wasted 3yrs of my precious life. And it is really painful to bounce back from all such mistakes and regrets.Out of all these sad stuff, by gods grace, one good thing happened that is I cleared my ca inter(group 1)in Nov 2023 attempt.And i'm sure that, I'll clear group 2 in may 2024 attempt.As such, i want to pursue any useful&worthy courses for my future career without wasting my time anymore in the 2yrs of my articleship period. @@CAHareesh it felt easy... I increased the time slot to 20min as I have exams in 15 days.. I thought I will give up even after finishing 60% of the syllabus.. With your technique finished 10% of syllabus on just one day and now I can push myself and finish off 80-90% per sub and give the exams..

1) you can make flashcards of key concepts (like due dates, eligibilities, disqualifications) and scroll through them instead of the phone. 2) you can be a people watcher. (of course, don't stare at them and look creepy) 3) you can do blind recall of whatever you read the previous day. or you can randomly quiz yourself. all within your mind. 4) if you have a kindle or any other e-reader, you can carry that and read books in that time. (I do this, personally.) as of now, i can think of all these.

Hello. Definitely not. Siesta is permitted only if you score so well in the powerplay. But i would say, take some action to first address that loophole. Protect the Powerplay.

depends on how much backlogs you have accumulated. Just study 30 mins extra every day than your normal schedule. you will clear your backlogs eventually.

I guess you're writing in June. Still there is enough time. It is completely normal that students going blank in the exams when they have actually studied the particular topic. the only problem you have is lack of revisions. Just make sure you complete 80% of the portions in every paper 4 times minimum. do this and let me know if you're still panicking. If yes, we will figure out a further solution.

Also Yes also No, it's very subjective, see if there is a Rank Holder, or One who had cleared in First Attempt, then obviously it would be much more impressive and attractive for the Hirer or Anyone who sees the resume, as compared to one who got multiple attempts, still it doesn't mean that they would not achieve a good package, it's completely about your skills, experience and knowledge, so again if a person would check you and the first attempter, providing you've got some skills then he would evaluate you on that basis.

Mostly teaching institutes host their sessions from 6 am to 1.30 pm. So, the daily powerplay is covered that way. Attending classes will also count. Not necessarily it has to be self-study only.

Hello sir, Im a ca inter student..I have completed my articleship but till now i couldn't able to pass any groups. I want to pass but I don't know what's wrong. At first I decided to prepare for both groups, then i decided to prepare for one group & that didn't work out and now im focusing on law exemption.. Every time after exam i realise my mistakes and try to start again...I don't know what's wrong with me...I want to pass exms but at the same time I lack lot of things ..Need your guidance 🙏🏻

For the next few days focus only on law and try genuinely for the exemption. Immediately after the exams don't consider the days as holidays as you are very well aware that you have exams in sep itself.. So 3 months... By the time results will be announced prepare 1 subject completely and second subject half. If law turns out to be an exemption then hurray... Finish off the remaining half subject and revise those two as much as possible.. If law exemption got missed.. Then prepare that 1 and half subjects and revise the 3 subjects.. So the key here is how well you utilise the gap between end of the exams and results announcment...i.e approx 30-40 days. If you can effectively use those 30-40days .... You will sure gain 1. Momentum 2. Confidence 3. Save time 4. Guilty and anxiety will reduce. All the best . Just a CA final student's advice to you.. Have a nice day reading law..

@@Gpsy-rj6bi forcefully push all those things away for the next couple of days.. Think like this.. You have only law in your syllabus... You don't have any other subjects in the syllabus but LAW and it's your duty to score a min of 60. That's it. That is it. These exams are very psychological . Trick your brain that you have only1 sub. I am doing the same. For me for this attempt I have only 2 subjects. That's it.

@@myhomestoriess2023hi mam ....i am just doing the same bt i have a very bad past experience....whenever i decide to go with one subject and if it was 3 or 4 paper ....by the time i was got nervous and thought coming in my mind that if i study earlier i can crack full grp etc etc....bcoz as u know in ca we have to sit for all the papers to get exemption ......and this tym also i am planning for fmsm which is last exam and i studied little little of first two papers ....so i am scared that if i focus on last paper only abd by the tym i get nervous....i will end up getting nothing with this attempt .....plz guide me how can i tackle this serious problem 😢

I'm questioning your statement of "I have no output in the first 4-5 hours". It can't be as permanent as that. Maybe you might have felt plateaued on a couple of days. So, if you have slept well, you're bound to get good progress in the first 6 hours post waking up. You're also saying you're always distracted. Now that needs some addressing. Fix the root cause of whatever is bothering you. The first sessions will soon be productive.

I'm in intermediate. i take lectures from 9.00am(which actually starts on 7.45) there are 4 lectures of 2.15 hour with 20-30 min break. i watch them on 2x just because of this i can manage all things properly but my seniors suggest to not watch on 2x. so, should i watch on same speed or low?

Your seniors might have suggested that if you watch on 2x, you might miss the key points of the lectures. But you decide for yourself. if the lecture is too much a drag and if you think the words are not getting over your head, then you can watch at 2x.

Sir, I'm CA Intermediate direct entry student . 11th 12th science stream.This is my second attempt and my syllabus is not well covered as confidence is also low. And parents expect you to pass this attempt because how many more attempts are you going to give? My parents didn't let me go as the exam is important so I didn't even step out of the house Don't know what to do with this just a room and study. Frustration is increasing .But sir I can't tell anyone what situation I am facing. Even parents don't understand. And I am literally stuck, am I worthy for CA course? The inner voice says I can do it but you need some time to gain knowledge. Please suggest me sir !

Hey really sorry about your situation. I understand what you're going through. I have also undergone the situation of being just in the room and fully studying. But the point is I was just being in the room and I was not studying with full focus. Just do a reality check of how many effective hours have you put in your preparation? have you done at least 4 rounds of revision? have you written 2 model tests? If your answer is no for the above two questions, then that's your next target. If your answer is yes for the above two questions, and if you're being honest, then we need to find out where is the exact problem. In case of your answer being a no for the above questions, you just start to follow all the points I cover in my videos like tackling perfectionism, consistent study schedule etc. Aim for 1 group in Sept, and give your full focus in that. I intuitively feel that you're definitely worthy of pursuing CA. Hope this helps.

@@CAHareeshSir, Ans is no. Effective hours of study only 5-6 hrs and my syllabus is stil pending. My parents are saying like that you chose this course by your own interest then you should be clear in first attempt. And feel like I can't complete this then how can I pass my exam.I saw your videos that's really helpful I will make it work.

Only increase by that much that is just beyond your current comfort level. Say if you're currently studying 3 hours per day, aim to push for 3.5 hours per day. Don't push it all the way till 5 hours per day.
