A restless year: 2023 the good, bad, & ugly

I can relate to so much of what you said here in regards to time management and the older I get the more important my time seems to become. I can’t and don’t want to depend on others to join me when I want to get up long before the sun comes up to go paddle a new body of water and see what I can catch so I too spend most of my time in the great outdoors solo but I do enjoy the camaraderie of others when I am on occasion joined by a friend or family member. For me, the whole idea of recording my adventures is really for my own enjoyment and to be able to look back and remember those good times when I can no longer get out and do the things I love. I’m happy to share them with others if they are so inclined to come along, if not…..no worries. Hoping 2024 is a great year for us all.

I was (and am still) with you on the books! I even majored in English and creative writing. You go to some diverse and amazing places. I love seeing those slot canyons. Out here I am happy to see two rocks near each other. I have found, in my older years I am just as happy doing things all by myself. I am looking forward to your 2024 adventures.
