If you are traveling across Texas on I-10 you will want to plan on making a stop at South Llano River State Park! This beautiful Texas Hill Country park is just south of the town of Junction Texas and is so very easy to get to.
Sitting in the river bottom of South Llano River this Texas State Park presents two different and unique typologies to explore, the river bottom and forest as well as the up country that is typical of the Texas Hill country.
The RV sites at South Llano River State Park all provide water and 30AMP power. The site pads are asphalt and are fairly level. The Restrooms/showers were clean and accessible.
South Llano River State Park is well known for bird watching, hiking and river actives. Keep a look out for the wild turkeys that call the pecan bottoms home!
