What is your favorite mod (or combination of mods) for Empire?

The ambition of Empire still makes it my favorite. Just returned to it for the first time since 2016. Wish later total wars expanded upon and refined Empire’s mechanics

The Rights of Man is an amazing name taking in count the time period.

I love that you show us mods for Empire. Weirdly enough, Empire is my second favourite Total War, even though it's a buggy mess. The scope of it and ambitions (new mechanics, conquering the whole world, colonialism etc.) are probably the reasons why. Personally, I prefer the more radical mods for Empire but I might try this one out.

Thanks for reviewing this mod. I love the vanilla gameplay of empire and the game is slow already so mods that slow it down to a crawl really turned me off the game (inuding imperial destroyer which changed the game way too much despite all the good stuff it tried to do). This mod is exactly what I was looking for. Thank god for modders and great reviewers like yourself!

It would be interesting some improvements in this game, for example the possibility of establishing colonies in the commercial nodes on the Coast of Brazil and Coast of Irory, including the possibility of the player giving names to the colony and their respective cities and ports. In addition, they could put Switzerland in the game, after all it has Swiss units and the vacant territory.

This mod is amazing, i tried with Absolutum Dominium (mod that add some units and change aspect) made this mod even better

The problem with 18ct warfare is that just too many units are the same with different uniforms and different number values. So if you are not one of those people that gets a hard on cause some obscure regiment is present, that's a problem and makes etw and its mods boring. Etw is the only tw game in which I comfortably alt-tab mid battle, cause so little is going on.

I wanted to check out this mod, as I have previously done with Imperial Splendour: Rise of Republic, Darthmod and Imperial Destroyer, but I cant get this mod running. All I get is application load fail. I was browsing the Total war center for help, reading all possible technical thread, but no luck so far. Is there something special about the installation, as I was follwing it step by step, with still no luck running it? Thank you.

We really, really need the Empire 2. Desperately. If we are lucky maybe they go for it after WH3.

Does it have custom/copyrighted soundtrack ? Would like to do a LP at some point when i have time.

I am having trouble getting this mod to run and the forms are long dead so I thought I would ask here. I downloaded and installed the mod, however, when I click on the desktop shortcut it starts to load the game then when the opening cut scene is meant to play the game goes straight to desk top, no error message is given. Just to note if I click the play game button within the steam library it will play vanilla version of empire rather than the mod. Anyone has any ideas?

i have thus so far been unable to get this mod to work. everytime i try to launch it from the shortcut i get to the splash screen before it CTDs. i have reinstalled multiple times to no avail. any idea as to how i might get it to work?

Is the mod compatible with Historical Portraits mod and High Definition Graphics Overhaul mod?

People talk alot about empire battles being slow, but honestly a musket in that era shouldnt be able to hit anything from beyond 70meters... instead we got sniper muskets firing from 120 meters. Fml.

Whenever I try to play this mod (even with the mod manager) I get an application load error 5:0000065434

Regarding Napoleon Total War, I tried to download the mod but the download appears to be broken.

Really wanna give this one a go but I followed the instructions to a T but it crashes on startup, would help if it was a little clearer, anybody else had this issue?

Hello Gudea, I was watching your reviews of ETW mods and was wondering if you would like to have a look at what is my personnal favourite mod for NTW namely the NTW3 mod, since it's inception the mod has aimed at doing justice (as much as possible with the warscape engine (and total war engine 3)) to the napoleonic warfare and distinguising the very different armies of the age (which NTW vanilla did very poorly IMHO), The campaign part has been also done yet less well, If not a review I would highly suggest that you check some videos on the mod on YT, they also have a discord for you to be sure to download the most recent version, fairewell to you sir and keep on the great work : ) Discord link: discord.gg/

Idk if you can help me but i have an problem everytime i install the mod i run the launcher play the game but it crash when i try to start the game do you know how to fix this?

This is a very old mod, with many key mod members abandoned the Rights of Man and no longer active on TWC. There are historical inaccuracies, incomplete gameplay concepts and a general lack of outstanding features (eg: better AI, or unique historical units, or upgraded UI graphics...)

How to remove the capture point in the center of the fort?
