We travel down that last surviving section of the Kettle Valley Railway on steam engine 3716. We take a ride down the track from Summerland B.C. to Canyon View, where we look at the bridge trestle and landscape.
There is a lot of history on the line, and we are treated to a guided tour down of the line by the conductor about various aspects of the railway, it's history and construction. Along the way, we see flumes, bridges, stations, and gorgeous mountian views.
We stopped at Canyon View to refill the train with water like they did in the old days of the railroad. Then, we head back down the track to Summerland on the last running section of the great Kettle Valley Railway.
