who films going up in a super-tall boom and only films the guy talking and not the ground and boom?? Hes a cool dude but i thought i might see the equipment
im an equipment mechanic and have to "test" these booms every day before renting them. even have to make sure it still drives at full height. They are solid and actually fun once you get used to it.
I agree. I’m a technician for United and we check these out all of the time. The Genie SX180s feel even more stable than the JLG1500SJPs. The JLG 1850SJs feel much less stable but still fine after you get used to going “full stick” on them.
Lucky enough that my boss has just bought one and it's currently being shipped over. It'll be the 3rd in europe and the 1st in the UK. Can't wait to get on it!
I did my Genie boom re-cert training today, I used to be good at height, but after today , not so much and I was only up 30 feet!!!. I would probably have a heart attack anywhere near this height.
@@Tman0517 I've actually been on 140ft genie lifts now after being in the cell industry for 5 years, have worked 1800' in the air on the CN tower and have climbed and worked on 800' towers. Funny how when i first saw this I couldn't imagine getting in one and now I've operated their second tallest genies. I actually had to rappel out of a genie that we seized up at 130'
the lady who was filming this had more balls than most men! haha kidding..niiice vid. genies are so much more comfortable than jlg's... for me... I'm comfortable at 40' .. above that I'm more comfortable. with a genie
This gives my anxiety just watching this. It took me a long time to take a 60' JLG 600S all the way up, and I still don't like it. This is madness. No way. Just no way.
