Dolly Varden trout..we have two lakes in all this vast wilderness on the north shore of lake Superior that has the aurora trout..both lakes are closed to fishing. The other 3 lakes that you can fish for them you can only take one 😊🤠
I remember taking my mom to this movie in the theatre. She loved Montana and Robert Redford, so we thought it'd be a good idea. We got out of the movie, and I stopped and said, I think we just saw the guy who is going to be Hollywood's top stud for the next few decades
I grew up fatherless and thought it was normal until I saw this and realized the hurt. We all need a dad to put their arm around us walked n talked to us and tell us they loved us.
JESUS CHRIST. HELL NO. HIM BEING A FISHER OF MEN IS AN OLD WIVES TALE TO FOOL 👀 UNauthentic types who don't SEE the phosphorus of true MORNING STAR. J.C. IS CODE FOR L.C. WHAT DO YOU THINK IM UNINIITIATED.
🤠 Montana Mountain Man - Since I live in Montana you all should know that I've caught Bigger (Truthfully)! 😂 If that is "perfection" then what did I "accomplish"? 🤭
🤠 Who said anything about rivers? But the real "death" of Montana's rivers is the "water laws" that are "supposed to protect them"! If a farmer or rancher doesn't use their allocated water rights, the State of Montana comes in to "Reclaim" (steal) them - which is NO incentive for water conservation! Then we have the State Water Courts that have been issuing water use permits for decades and does not "understand" that they are violating Federal Law by doing so - because ground water and surface water are "interconnected" in unconfined aquifers! Thus, without properly quantifying the resource and it's interaction, they cannot say that the permit issuance is not adversely affecting the resource or changing the water quality! The "Truth" is that the State Agencies have done a very poor job "managing" our resources and wildlife for decades and have done more harm than good! The politicians look at it is nothing more than "another revenue stream" that they can tax us on! That is my 2 cent's on that subject, though I could go on for hours about All their "screw ups"! 😡 Vote for Me for Governor and I'll promise to do everything I can to change that! 😁
🤠 As far as fishing is concerned, I used to own 370 fishing rods, fished about 5 days a week, and worked for a World Famous Fishing Guide! I am very familiar with how good things "used to be"! The death of the aquatic life (food supply), sedimentation, pollution, algae blooms, fertilizers and pesticides use, introduction of invasive species, low water levels, lack of dissolved oxygen, sudden changes in PH that intrain metals and kill a whole section of river when they drop out, Fish and Games practice of planting hatchery fish negatively effecting wild fish populations, FWP's planting of Non-native fish species, etc...have all lead to the demise of our fisheries in Montana! If you want it to be "improved", you have to Vote for someone that truly "understands the problems" - especially on a "Scientific Level"! My father was a PHD level "Biologist" and I am an "Environmental Engineer" with a background education and work experience in Chemistry and Water Quality/Water Treatment/Water Use Planning! Elect Me and I will make it a "Priority" to Address! I Care about our fishing and hunting opportunities here in Montana and would improve your experiences doing so - by improving the wildlife habitat, water resources, and the enforcement of common sense laws that govern them! If you want "better", then you have to "elect better" people! 😎
