Yeah um I know but like don't hate me and say I'm ruining it and stuff I just already knew so um like if you knew already and I guess hate if not? Edit:if you had ultra speed but your brain couldn't keep up you would die if only your senses were increased you would just be slow af but with both it seems everyone else is slowed because their brain is processing info so fast along with the body keeping up with what's going on that it seems time is slowed but it's simply that your brain is going too fast and making you see things at a slower pace making it look like they are slow. Isn't that ironic? Being faster makes things slower. (I don't actually know how to explain it well but this guy's got the general idea) Edit 2: I think I get it now. Since they have super brain processing they simply have high reaction time in addition to speed I don't think they in slo motion they just like instinctively move according to their route and speed.

@@IAMDOGGGGG Yeah its pretty much like that, but I believe they dont really see it all in slow motion somehow, they must see it as something else man. We just cant picture what it is because it feels complicated, we cant as humans imagine how it feels like to have super brain procession while running at the speed of the sound, like what looks like a POV that completly understand all these surroundings at once while not losing momentum.

QUESTION: if everything is simply in slo-mo for them how would it look to fight another speedster? Can you imagine running away from someone at normal speed and everyone else is just slow and the added factor that they legit throw lightning, run up walls and phase through things. QUESTION2 2: if in slo-mo when they phase are they just like side stepping real fast? Can you imagine the Saitama scene against sonic but Saitama is replace with the flash? QUESTION 3: Even if it's in slo-mo I don't think that they can stick to walls unless they have spider-man abilities (related question is it built in their suits?). QUESTION 4: if it's in slo-mo and thawne and Barry are both in flashtime HOW IN THE KUNTUCKY FRIED F#$K DID THEY NOT SEE THAWNES FACE. LAST QUESTION: if it's not in slo-mo this makes even less sense. Then again it IS fiction so it gets away with it.

Imagine how hard that would be to script though. It would be almost if not impossible, making the world around someone slower while still having everyone else in normal time wouldn't work if you wanted it to be seamless.

if i remember correctly because of the way the equations work out, instead of time being negative once you pass the speed of light, it actually is imaginary time (a time dilation value with imaginary numbers)

It isn't actually a theory, it's called time dilation, and it has been proven with atomic clocks. The closer you approach the speed of causality, the slower your perception of time, this exists as the twin paradox where if one twin were to travel on a high-velocity spacecraft then return to Earth, they would have aged less than their twin. Once you reach the speed of causality, your perception of time freezes, this is why photons of light don't experience time, to a photon's perspective born after the big bang and still travelling through the universe to this day, no time has elapsed at all. It's impossible to travel faster than this speed though, anything with mass requires an infinite amount of energy to achieve the speed of causality, photons can travel at this speed limit because they have no mass, but no faster.

The concept is called special relativity and one of the easiest ways to visualize it is by bouncing a photon. In classical physics, reference frames are really important because if you’re on a train and you throw an object straight up, to you it looks like it goes straight up and down. But to an observer outside of your reference frame (outside the train), it looks like it travels in an arc. This is fine, however, because the object you throw is inheriting the train’s speed. Now, imagine this same scenario but the train is moving *extremely* fast, and the object you throw is a photon moving up and down. You will still observe it moving up and down, and the outside observer will still see it moving diagonally. The only issue not is that the speed of light is a *constant* and has been proven to be a constant through tests. It can’t inherit the train’s speed because it’s speed doesn’t change. That means that to the outside observer, the light actually *did* travel a greater distance over a greater amount of time. For this reason, at extremely high speeds time and distance are relative (special relativity relates to time and general relativity relates to distance) A way that this idea has been proven is through the fact that we can detect muons from the sun and other cosmic bodies. muons are a particle that decays extremely quickly (in 2.2 microseconds), so how could they not have decayed in that time? because they move so quickly that time almost doesn’t move (slightly lower than 1c i believe). Them being detectable from far away stars is extremely solid evidence that time doesn’t move at all for light particles. by the way if any of this is wrong please correct me
