This is a video I shot in Kyrgyzstan over a 2 day period in November 2015. With my mountain unicycle camping by Orto-Tokoy reservoir, my plan was simple. Hike, ride, repeat (and refrain from injuring myself!). Riding spots were limited and because I was alone I didn't attempt anything too dangerous, but the I'm very pleased with the result of this little expedition. Enjoy :)

No you shouldn't be on ice alone. I am no expert on ice but I spent much of youth on it. the ice looked ''healthy''. When the ice is ''right'', you need about 2 or 3 inches to walk on it. Ice is like ''skin'' and distributes your weight on the water . You need about a foot thick of ice if you want to drive a vehicle on it. So it sounds like you were not in any danger. When ice warms, it kind of rots and loses its integrity and can become highly dangerous. The sounds you were hearing was ice growing and expanding...and giving you ultimately more support.

I've been riding muni for 10 years it would be awesome to go on an adventure with you, help film etc .unicycles are bomb! Im going to pick up a nimbus hatchet really soon . I live in Utah and have an awesome assortment of trails

Its awesome that youve chosen to go adventuring as a young man. Its the best time to enjoy life and go see the world before life responsibilitis tie you down and everything starts to hurt.
