Dave is the goat I remember him at 19 and I remember when he left his show and so many called him crazy... he knew he wasn’t going to sell his soul and like he says “name your price at the beginning and when the price gets too high leave” he’s not just a comic he’s a inspiration and I’m proud to have been able to watch all the stages unfold . I’ve learned that with him, you can’t just listen and laugh at his routines, because they’re not just routines...they’re very intricately orchestrated streams of wisdom. You can’t say this about many people in the world today, but after listening to every one of his specials, I walk away a little wiser, a little more aware, and rightfully so, for the right reasons, a little more skeptical of everything and everyone. I pray he lives a long, peaceful life. I hope he gets to watch his kids get older and start families of their own just so he’ll have another generation to impart his wealth of wisdom upon. Dave is one of the world’s best Farmers. He planted a seed in all who dare watch him, and there’s always something profound that grows within all of us.
