Very nice view! Thanks for sharing. Brussels Airlines just got rid of their Sukhoi fleet. Endless technical errors and a lack of spare parts killed the business.
Didn’t expect to see SSJ video from Mexico! What about spare parts now? Or it is fully out of service? Manufacturer announced few weeks ago that they much improved and have at least 40 spare engines in stock. Greetings from Russian avionics software engineer!)
Too bad Sukhoi Civil Aviation has a very poor logistics and spare parts management. Our regional airliner here in Russia is also suffering from lack of spares. 3 planes out of 5 are on the ground due to absence of spares for engines!
it was more due to sanctions as the main reason it will be very difficult to get around that since it was certified with a;;pt of american and European parts and Russia does not currently have the ability to make all of those parts domestically, it will take time same thing for the mc21, those planes will never be easily allowed to enter the international markets racket.
Hi Rob, what is the difference between the autothrottle of the SSJ and the Airbus AT System ? Are there detents ? Because it looks like the leavers are moving. Does the SSJ the same managed flight modes like Airbus ? Hows FLCH, OP CLB working ? Do you have to select the thrust manually or does it the AT system ?
Florian G Superjet autothrottle is identical to Boeing autothrottle, there is thrust lever movement and there are no detents like on Airbus autothrust. Managed speed mode of Superjet is identical to Airbus, the only difference is that on Superjet it is called "auto speed" mode instead of managed speed mode.
