Gabi, I come from a country where it is still illegal to be gay. I am so grateful for your cultural education, and how special to scen the icons - makes me feel that much closer to them1 Thank you
Thank YOU 👌 💯 ❤️❤️ I'm really sorry you live where there's so much oppression 😔 hopefully one day it will change. Till then, wr can unite together to make a change thank you 😊 💖❤️🌈
I’m not part of the LGBT + group, though I have always been very supportive given the highly conservative and traditional culture I was raised in. That’s sort of the nature of being a woman, that you want to naturally nurture and care for those who need care and support. For me, I see women like Elizabeth Taylor, Lady Diana, Madonna, and Lady Gaga as some major icons of and supporters of the LGBTQ +. Without them there wouldn’t be as much advancement in HIV/AIDS research and health solutions made possible without their compassion and commitment to make a difference not just in medicine but in mainstream acceptance of what was once a far more marginalized group at that time. These women invested years of their lives, money, and reputation to uplift an entire section of society. They used their power to spread love. Love is the universal power to heal us all, Gabi. We all are different. We will not all see eye to eye. But as long as we have love, we can find a way to live in harmony together with our differences. Love is the most beautiful perfume ❤️❤️❤️.
Dear Gabby, you bring so much to those that are touched by your words and your persona 💖 growing up in a very small rural town in South America, I remember Pepita 💖 she was a trans woman (though of course that terminology didn't exist back then), she was faaabulous, always wore big dramatic eyeliner, bright green or blue shadow, full red lips, her laughter was so warm, as was she, funny, irreverent 🧜♀️ I was fascinated, always wanted to be around her. She was a hair stylist and make up artist, and actually friends with my larger family. They turned their backs on her when she fell ill, I remember her knocking on our door, crying and being turned away. It still breaks my heart. But I remember her, and I'm so grateful for everything she taught me, just with the way she moved around that horrible society. They didn't deserve her. I like to imagine her in fabulous gowns and makeup, in fabulous company, laughing and having a ball, somewhere out of space and time 💖 Thank you Pepita, thank you April Ashley, thank you Calpernia Addams, thank you Gabby 💖🫂
That's such a sad story but she didn't deserve that 😔 Thank uou my love 💓 we're in this together. We CAN change people's perception by education ❤️❤️🌈🌈
Hello Gabi! I'm from Kyiv. I was born female and I am not a part of lgbt+ community but I have a person here in Ukraine to admire. Her name is Monroe and she's a transgender woman. She is a celebrity and she's a blogger. She tells to people how it is to be a trans in the time of war. She encourages her followers to fight for dignity and be a beautiful woman, to be a human despite everything wrong and evil. Sending you much love ❤️
Another beautiful woman who fights for her rights 🌈💕 thank you ❤️ I hope you're keeping safe in Kyuv. Such tragedy 😢 I'm sending you so much love ❤️ ♥️♥️
Another lovely tribute!!! April sounds like an incredibly talented lady. I love how you spoke about her life, and the scent you chose for her. I’ve not heard of Sublime before, but I do love Jean Patou perfumes!!!!⭐️🦋
❤❤❤❤❤ yay! Wasn't even expecting this today. Just saw you posted so I'm there. Love you Gabs and friends. Like comment and subscribe friends!!! I think my icon would have to be Amanda Lepore and Rupaul. Especially considering how Ru has made drag so mainstream.
