I just played it on gamepass its a very good game love the scenery. I honestly feel game didnt even need monsters to feel as amazing as it did.

Pretty sure there's been a lot of anecdotes over the years that Game Pass was actually very good for devs involved

A bunch of studios have said that the upfront from GP was enough to cover their development costs in full. Others have also said they saw upticks in sales following going on GP as people tend to buy the game if it's reasonably priced.
